Good story I do like these kind of stories when you have the arrogant alien coming to Earth thinking it's going to be an easy win and then getting their ass handed to them that's funny lesson and to quote one of my favorite TH-camrs habitual line crosser don't touch the boats!
There's no air in space so that type of dynamics is unnecessary. You might as well have said that you doubt a helicopter would be very manoeuvrable underwater.

My understanding is that Aerodynamics shouldn't have an impact on space craft.
