    The best demo of the pedal on TH-cam! I just picked one up and you've clarified some of the ways to get that blues tone that I was struggling to find. And your playing is top-notch as well!

    Great demo! You're the only guy who I have heard get truly great tones and not just overly distorted mush! Got myself one of these pedals ordered thanks to hearing what they can really do. Nice mix of single coil and humbuckers too for a broad range of tones.

    Thanks to you, I have bought this pedal and I don't regret it. It will be the base of my overdrive/distorsion section with my Anasound Ego Driver and my EHX Big Muff Op-Amp. Very cool 🎸🔥🤘

    Best demo and absolutely satisfied!. Finally gives me the "Umph" factor that I need to consider this among the very desirable few overdrives I have in mind throughout this whole week. One of them is Electro Harmonix "Hot Wax" which gives that Pink Floyd-ish kinda vibe.

    The peddle is nice, but as usual, it's your playing that makes it all matter. And it's not just that you play so amazingly, but your note choices are exquisite to me. You make demos worth the watch for sure. And yes, those new Pickups sound just fine. Stay Well Groovy One!

    Fender are really knocking it out of the park with their pedals at the moment. I really like the sound of this one as well, good for blues and rock! I also like that everything is lit up, thinking about gigging players and what they need. Great demo and great playing as always.

    Thank you for this review. I have bought this pedal (because it is a tube distortion pedal) a few days ago to pair with a Blonde Twin reverb Tone Master and I was disapointed and unable to get the tone I had in mind. (not because of the amp) I play a telecaster and an ES 355 two soundfull and different guitars .I was wondering why there was a Tone button before the Bass and Treble. I know now what it is for. Many demos have been made but yours is the best Thanks again.

    hair metal is all mahogany and humbucker out of a plexi...

    • @yargnad
      @yargnad 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most 80s hair metal was Charvel, Jackson, ESP into JCM800s. LPs were not very popular in the 80s until a couple years after AFD came out which is the late 80s and near the end of the hair metal era.

    • @sebastionhawk5565
      @sebastionhawk5565 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yargnad maybe after 84...IMO, hair metal started as early as 1978...some may even say 1976...there WAS no JCM then...the JCM 800 was not even offered for sale until 1981...and, in reality, the JCM800 is merely a hot-rodded plexi, that was re-designed. Maybe you are focusing on 85-89? Those late 90s were made of POP hair metal...and, there were a LOT of Gibson Les Pauls, SGs, Flying Vs, and, Dean Vs and Zs, Washburns, Hammer, etc...a lot of humbucker with mahogany. Maybe not ALL, like I said...LOL!

    • @yargnad
      @yargnad 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sebastionhawk5565 The JCM800 was very early 80s and basically ever since VH hit big in 79-80 and especially after thrash picks up, it's Kramers, Charvels, Jacksons, that's the MIJ heyday. Couldn't give a LP away back then. That's all the same era. Plexis were considered too loose for that era of metal.

    • @sebastionhawk5565
      @sebastionhawk5565 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yargnad Like I said, the JCM did not even come out for sale until 1981, and, was not being used mainstream by everyone until about 1984. AND< most importantly of all, if you did not get the memo, "HAIR METAL," started before 1980, as it was here by 1978, and, even came into play in about 1976. See what kind of equipment that was used by everyone from Judas Priest to Def Leppard to Iron MAiden. They were not "thrash." It was THEY who stated hair metal. And in 1976, Eddie VH was playing mahogany with humbuckers into a plexi. AND< also, my initial comment was not specific to "LPs," Les PAuls, but, rather to "mahogany with humbuckers," of which, there are many, many brands and models of those, INCLUDING "Kramers and JAcksons." Why did you start off the bat with a straw man argument?
