Started the segment with a "lupine" pun too, two wolf puns in one short segment is pretty good going. Specially since there are no wolves involved, it's more of a big weird reindeer dog.
I think Ludwig, The Holy Blade is a good shout. He's a good man, and (provided he's in his "Holy Blade" form, not his "Accursed" form) is mostly sane, which is more than can be said for most bosses in the game. He even founded his own holy order of hunters (which most members have gone insane and murderous, through no fault of his own considering he essentially got stuck in hell), which is potentially pretty attractive for some; people like a man with authority and power. And hey, if all that doesn't do it for you, he's, uh, like a horse in all the places that matter if you know what I mean.
When Luke said ”Kos or some say kosm” I turned on subtitles because I could’t hear what he was saying, but they gave up on it too and just went ”cars or something” lol
The Mad Ones are the Witch of Hemwick's toxic friends that are always negative and attacking anyone she tries to date. Gehrman is ALL red flags. He is deceptive and manipulative. And MADE A DOLL OF THE WOMAN THAT TURNED HIM DOWN. That's not a hard decision. Also, don't body shame Ebrietas! Luke, you made the right choice. Give her a chance to get to know her personality first!

this video made me think and I just realized that the witch of Hemwick worked for Micolash, and the snatchers too. And the one reborn is probably what Micolash was trying to do with all the bodies he accumulated for the ritual of Mensis, which is the thing that turns all yharnarmites into beasts when the blood moon comes, something that was prevented by Rom the spider until we kill her When you think about it, Micolash could be considered the main antagonist of the game and you don't even know who he is when you meet him, and he dies pretty easily

I see Gehrman as a big softy. If you get all his dialog moments in the game, it makes him much more sympathetic. He's aged, so tired, and wants his final rest. But he's being host to the dream as penance for his involvement in Kos and the hamlet. You only fight him because he wants to save you from yourself. Either he's worried you're blood drunk, or he sees that you're willing to take his place and he won't submit you to that much torment. He's happy he's found you as another Hunter because there's important work to do, and he doesn't tell you everything about it. But once the task is done, he gives you a painless way out to escape the dream and go back to your life.
