Hey bro, it doesn't work :( When it starts, the NodeMCU connects to internet and when i press "y", it says "Requesting URL:..." but then it shows the message "Correct character not pressed.Try again" twice, and the mail never shows.
I've watched this video the whole day but can't find out why it doesn't work. I've already cheked the url, the host, my internet but it doesn't work :( can you help me?

I can upload the program but when I open the serial monitor it prints a few random characters, then it does nothing... do you know how to solve this?
and now i can see (on my homespot) that it is connected but it stil doesn't show anyting on the serail monitor...
-If baud rate mentioned in code and that on serial monitor(specified on bottom right corner ) is not same ,then serial monitor can display garbage values
can i generate a random number and then send that number to a mail id from Node Mcu using IFTTT?

It is possible. Look up a platform called chatfuel, it allows you to trigger events from facebook messenger. It can be linked with ifttt.

You can use this applet, but how do you plan on sending information of motor's status to the node mcu first

no after uploading , when I am opening the serial monitor for the process , that time . every time connection is getting failed .
The wifi ssid and password could be incorrec,check that correctly. And Try with a different mobile hotspot .
