I am Tridb Dutta and you are watching TRD Travels.In this video I I went Bikna Village which is famous for a tribal craft job named as DHOKRA .Dhokra is a non ferrous metal casting craft job, it is a lost wax casting technique forever it was 4000 years old still is used.
How to reach-
The nearest station is Bankura is around 3 hour journey from Howrah to Bankura. And from Bankura it is only 3 km away.
Nearest city Bankura which is around 03 km from Bikna (Dhokra Craft Village).
Where Stay-
At this point ther are has not any accommodation option- But Nearest city Bankura have most staying option.
Or u can also visit from other touring spot like - Bisinda Pahar, Susunia Pahar ,Gangdua Dam & Bishnupur. All those point are not far away from this Bikna village. And there are have some accommodation option.
