Anyway, this song is incredible. One of my all time favorites. I'm pretty sure this was my first and only attempt. I ended up getting every squeeze I went for, so that is that. It's almost sad, I would have like playing this song over and over just to listen to it.

I can't believe this game is now 10 years old. I was 16 when this came out and my middle brother was soon to be 11 and my younger brother was 5. My friends would come to my house on friday nights after school when my brothers except my parents were home and we would go in the basement and put the music up loud to play the game and we would all jam out and have fun. I miss those times now.

I really miss having the music video stage on Rock Band. This one especially. With all those effects and the colorful outlines coming out of the characters looked amazing. HMX really needs to bring it back in RB4.

The crowd noises in the RB games were always way better than GH. Crowd singing the chorus is goosebump incuding to this day.
if i had to pick between Guitar Hero and Rock Band charts, i often go with Rock Band, oftentimes the songs sound better than their Guitar Hero release (Psychosocial is an obvious example), and sometimes better than the original mix, not to mention the crowd, which is absent in GHWT's Everlong chart
I do like how in the later guitar hero games the crowd starts clapping when you active starpower
@@joaquingonzalez834 super good point, good example is “Do You Feel Like We Do (Live)” by Peter Frampton on Rock Band vs GH5. In GH5 they remixed the song, and mixed the on-record crowd sounds super low to the point where they’re barely audible. I guess to focus on the band/instruments more, but it kills the lightning-in-a-bottle live energy of the song. RB kept the crowd noises from the record in and it’s so much more lively as a result.

@Drawsome_209 I'm pretty sure they do that since the very first game, though Guitar Hero 5 removed the reverb effect when you activate star power

@@zachc9532 Drop D is such a fun tuning but I figured out by playing E and D at the same time then tune low E whole step down to D. I tried to play with clean tone and it sounds good.
Used to no look FC this for crowds, when this game was new... and I knew I was on to the activations for Overdrive, too.
expert is wild, the notes don't even make sense with the guitar in the song a lot of the time it's just note spam to try to trip you up xD
