Dude, Rock Band 2 had to have been the *best* rhythm game ever made. Look how good this still looks all these years later. The zoom in for the guitar solo, breaks, and lets not even talk about the setlists. its all there. Its why this has always been my favorite.
Probably one of my most favourite songs in the RB franchise. Beside from being an epic song, it also means a lot to me in a personal way. I was introduced to this song when I first played RB2, and by that time I dealt with some serious panic/anxiety disorder. I can totally relate to the lyrics, wich explains the emotions of a panic attack very well.
@nidecker1 4 years late but yes I agree I suffer from generalized anxiety order as well and yes the lyrics are accurate as hell the member who wrote this one must have anxiety too
Grinded for the FC of this tonight and just got it about 10 minutes ago! I started playing this game for the first time on Sunday and omg these Impossible Tier songs are proving to be such a challenge
Agreed. I use breakneck speed when I play because when you have solos like the one in this song where lots of notes are very close together, it can actually be harder when the chart is slower as they are all bunched up more. Granted it takes practise as you don’t have as much time to “prepare” for what’s coming next, but it makes the chart more readable in the crazier bits and improves the timing of your note hits!
Epic song, but from 5:03-5:25 I was a bit disappointed to see that solo uncharted and instead it was still the rhythm. I feel like this song could use a revamp, it deserves better.

Visions and Painkiller are now left to deal with.

Fellow panic sufferer here - this song is my day to day life.
Also Dream Theater is amazing! 🎉
These videos are gonna be much better than before since the old ones weren't 60fps
Love dream theater
4:14 If you look at the guitar player closely, he moves his guitar up and then Overdrive is activated. Coincidence?
Nice catch lol

Nice job dude!
If this was guitar hero, this would be a clusterfuck of a boss fight song, and in a really cool way.
🎤"This song goes out to the tall buffy tribal tattoos man from ages past into the here and now confirmed ekto parbarum!"
Good tune
I watched, then I loaded it up. I still got it.

5:26
jfc I had no idea this song was even in this game .-.
Why do you play these songs with the speed booster extra enabled?
It's actually called "Breakneck Speed". It makes it easier to read the note charts and see what's coming next.

How in the flying fuck do you finger 4:44?
Use your pinky for orange and lift it off so you can use your other fingers to fret the rest. It takes practice to get right.

Its a keyboard solo
it’s not a guitar solo
