Wish people took more pride in their neighborhoods and picked up trash, even if left by others. Drains might not need clearing, except for dirt and foliage that builds up over time.
To be fair neither of us know if he is doing this because he cares or because he saw how popular these kinds of videos are and thought "That looks like easy money!"
Good work. So satisfying sending water away from where it shouldn't be. Couple of places where I catch a bus gets a lake in this sort of rain but probably needs machinery to unblock them.

Just clear the drain and let it do its job. Go get dry!
You have to make sure it's going to stay clear though. A couple months ago the drain in the parking lot behind my work was clogged with leaves and flooded a quarter of the lot. I had to stand there for half an hour or more pulling more and more leaves off the grate as it drained because it kept clogging again.
