As for Unita as a party: they lost their opportunity to renew their image 7 years ago. And they also lost the ability to shake off their violent almost genocidal image that the Angolan people sees on them; mainly because of the former J. M. Savimbi. Last election of 2017 in Angola, the C.N.E.A. changed a bit the final numbers without changing the real overall result. So that the MPLA wouldn't be acused of fraud and the Unita wouldn't feel like they lost big time. In reality Unita only got 20% of the votes during last election. That means that: this is lack of journalism standard from CNBC, to be interviewing anyone about Unita ever wining in Angola for these 15 minutes.
