I always laugh at the face that a lot of people make when I ask them if they like to eat ramps! Most people have no clue what I'm talking about. They're so freaking good though.
I'm noticing your views getting drastically lower with the past 7-9 videos for some reason! That sucks. There has to be a way to bring that back up somehow. Videos from just 2-3 months ago have 400k. The past 5 or so have barely hit 10k! I'm wondering if it's because they're not that "camping" related. That's the downside of TH-cam. You'll get wormholed in to doing just one type genre, or you'll lose views, sadly.
Nickolas, that truck is going to give you lots of trouble. I have the generation Ram with the same engine. Mine is horrible but I still love her. 😂 I love yours more because it's a manual and that's good because 1) manuals are dying off. 2) our generation needs to learn manual. And 3) you won't have transmission problems like me 😔 unless you burn your clutch
I have a question. My understanding is that ramps have purple stem. There other species (not ramps) that look like ramps but are not. The one you harvest have only white stems. Could you clarify? Thank you
Yes, some are purple/reddish. If you find some with the different color, just pull a piece of the leaf off and smell it. Should smell like onion/leak. Also a giveaway is how small the bulbs are compared to different bulb type plants.

When I was in Girl Scouts (decades ago) we cooked dandelion leaves. They were great! It tasted like spinach.
