Sims 4 was meant to be a lite, always online game, like Sim City. After that got panned, they removed the always online "feature" and continued on with that garbage. No excuse for not having an open world in the sims 4 other than that garbage.
My most recent sim was made to be a criminal, she has the daredevil, rebellious, and kleptomaniac trait (among others). As soon as i loaded into the game, she wanted to be a firefighter. She became one and now shes at level 10 of the career, and won a couple of awards. It was really unexpected!
tags and murals are not the same thing, i made that mistake a lot too but murals are labeled as murals and tags are only gonna register as tags. thats why the wish wasnt working
As an American, my washer and dryer are basically in my kitchen so it's not that uncommon here either. (I mean, it's also sort of a utility closet, but it's in the kitchen...)
Have lived in multiple places across the US that have had the Washer/Dryer in the kitchen or right next to it. Agreed, not extremely common, but not exactly uncommon either.

All post- Soviet countries have small bathrooms in old “affordable” flats government used to give to families so they didn’t have to share large flats with another families. And there was no washing machines in every family until 00s (sometimes even now in very poor villages), so architects didn’t think that bathroom and kitchen could be larger than 5 sq m. So now you have to choose: you do have a bathtub and washing machine in the kitchen or you place a shower and washing machine

If you had Dreamer mod you could fulfill unlocked wishes, I love it cause some long-term wishes always block the way
