I love your commented videos. But this is also very nice! I think the layout is good like this and i appreciate the text beeing displayed for the whole turn. Like this i have time to read and also its easy pause the video (would be annoying if text is split up like subtitles).. These analitycs in retrospect are very insightful, almost more so than the real time comments ;) GL with the chemo, i wish you and your family all the best.
Thanks for the well wishes. Yeh Analysis and play by play has its own set of good and bad. Both probably is best. There is another layout for the next video. Cause phone aspect ratio and iPad are different. Wonder which people prefer

Notes personally on the setup: 1. The area on the left with the text feels like it could just be text placed on top of the gameboard somewhere, with a nice outline or background. Feels better with more space for the gameboard :) 2. The text should be less, and then shown bit by bit as plays are happening. Overall love the format though with the speeding up, and music, and so on. If there is another track similar in grooviness that you can mix it up with, pls do :P Cheers!
The screen size is mainly due to how the ipad records. it is more square. Text wise, figured if its up longer. It could show more text. But I guess it being in bite sized chunks is easier to follow
@@cheesable I also prefer the current approach with the long block of text. Makes it very easy to pause, read, process and then watch. If single lines (like subtitles), it requires to look at two places at the same time, which I believe will make it more difficult. This format is great! :)
Round 4 I was wondering If SM -> Stillsuits -> Hardy was the line. Baron was the only other one with water, and I can't imagine him passing up Great Flat, so once you hit stillsuits you were likely to get to hardy. That would have let you deploy 6 troops which being as the conflict was cloak and dagger would have gotten you the fremen alliance. Or you could even slow play it by just limping in a single troop from stillsuits so it didn't look like you were doing anything more than trying to pick up a cheap 2nd or 3rd, and not raise too many suspicions that hardy was your intention. Hope your treatment goes very well, and doesn't wreck you too bad.
Fighting for alliances so early is kinda risky, esp without swordmaster or interstellar. It might have been the right call. Wish I could just have played 2 random useful factions
@@cheesable Yeah, that's understandable. The case for going for it is that you were getting SM with your first action that round in any case, and the baron was points leader at that point and any effort he spends defending means he's not getting other friendships/alliances. The big genesis of that suggestion was that you had 6 troops in garrison at the time, and I just get antsy when I get up to 6. Especially if I have sole access to shipping or am only sharing it with one other player. The troops build up and I run out of opportunities to get them into the fight. You can't get more than 6 garrisoned troops into play in a turn anyway (barring rapid or sarduakar legion) and if you get above 7, you're losing value on a heighliner play. I saw the play for the fremen as 1 -- using your troops in a likely very effective way, 2 -- using your access in a way that had a very plausible path to taking an alliance, and 3 -- putting pressure on the point leader.
@michaelwolfe9167 yeh. Pressure itself isn't great. You need pressure plus ability to further your own game. Else you are just helping the table. At the rate at which the game is optimised. There isn't enough time to pressure
I also played WC3, DotA, Sc2, then league. But sadly, i really dont have the time to play or reflect on anything, dont know how you do it with 2 kids. * Before you got the lyphoma diagnosis* now you get all the free time!
Before lymphoma, it was hard. I generally wake up at 4am and have about 2 hours before work to either play a game or edit a video. After lymphoma, I'm on hospitalisation leave, so this fills my time nicely
Thank you so much for implementing the ideas of your community. Now your content is even more enjoyable. Thank you so much
