Hey man thanks for uploading and sharing everything you have done to your ford ranger I had a 2005 ford ranger that didn’t have power locks,power windows, good lights anything and some of the things I have done to it I didn’t even know was possible or where to start thanks to your help I was able to make this old truck look new and very good I want to thank you for the chance of winning the lights I’d say I send them back because I got rear ended a week ago and they got destroyed because the person didn’t even try to stop and messed the truck up so bad that the insurance company totaled it I was very sad because it was my first car (I am 17) and I still watch this video because I love your constant and all your videos on your cars thanks for providing good videos keep up the good work just because I don’t have a ranger, doesn’t mean I won’t still watch your videos thanks for answering my questions when I had them and emailing me back keep up the great work man love everything you do🤙🤙🤙
Clean install! I have a similar style of powered sub (Kicker Hideaway) behind my driver's seat of the Miata. There's just enough room back there for the seat-back to hold it tight up against the wall. When the top is down, it's hard enough as it is to hear the stereo over the wind/road noise, and you definitely can't hear much bass out of the door speakers, so this little powered sub really helps. Even if you can't hear it, you will definitely feel it on your back. Money well spent in my opinion.
I want to put a single sub into my truck one day... But I'm forcing myself to take care of all the mechanical stuff first. Stereo stuff is so much more fun!
Hey, man! sweet video! question, I am going to install this same setup in my ranger tomorrow and i just wanted to know how it is holding up. the reviews on it are awesome but i was wondering about the wiring that you have running through the frame. is that the best way of doing it? also has the hot wire held up to being under the truck? and also i was wondering how you ran the wire once you go to the engine bay? sorry for so many questions i just dont want to screw it up and have it short somewhere lol.
No issues as long as I owned the truck. It was by no means the best sound I had ever heard. I didn’t have any wiring issues, but I did enclose it in loom.

What size speaker do you have mounted behind the seats? Did you have to drill new holes for it or can you use the hole already there from the speaker box cover?

Yes. Do it before you run the wire. It’s easier that way.

How did the sub end up performing? Looking to get a small powered sub for my ranger and looking for input and ideas
It was just OK. I’d spend a little more money for a better performer.

drake morgan I’m not sure. They were already in the truck when I got it. I think they were 6x9 but I’m not 100% sure.

It was a Sony. I don’t recommend it at all. It constantly froze and rebooted.
