And the result turned out better than even a tribe-fan could ever imagine! Also having the Abstract An The Dragon LP, so great!! Saw Phife solo in concert 5 years ago on the day of my 22nd birthday, RIP PHIFE, so much love to Busta & Tip (one of the illest producers of all time, PERIOD!!!) makin it still happen and having contributed so much to Hip Hop culture and broke into new dimensions soundwise!! They shaped the sound we hear today profoundly, a lot of people underappreciate that fact heavily!!!

I just stood there TRANSFIXED like, "WHO TF is this guy?!" My friend owned a record store, & I went there the next day & asked him to play the song, I thought I saw the video for, & I WAS HOOKED! I've listened to When Disaster Strikes (his 2nd album) like more than 17 times and I didn't skip any of the tracks they were pretty good. Also When Disaster Strikes is in the Top 100 hip hop/rap albums of all time.

I grew up in Queens near the Strong I. Border, so I was always on the island. I always thought this cat was from Uniondale and graduated from there. Whats with all this Brooklyn stuff? I never understood why Long Island cats forget where they from. Cats had nice families, good schools, and excellent sports teams. Yeah there were a couple of hoods in Hempstead, and sometimes the white boys would try to jump you in Elmont some spots, but who can forget Roller Castle and Laces?

The T.I.M.E. album was where you really started to hear Busta pull away from the group, talent and lyrically-wise. Charlie was trying to keep up with him but you could hear that he was struggling to maintain the standard Busta was setting. You have to remember as well, Busta is a Jamaican by DNA, so it was only a matter of time before the dancehall vibes started to come through in his creativity as displayed on his verse with the Scenario. From that moment there, it was wrap for Charile Brown as Busta had now taken it to a next level due to the Yardie connection.
You know Bus was always Head Honcho of ' leaders of a new school '. Without even watching this interview, i always knew that Bus had a stronger chemistry with Tribe than LONS. Whether it be ' modern day, hench Bus ' or ' back in the day, slim Bus ', Charlie Brown was always gonna get banged up by Mr Rhymes!

The T.I.M.E. album was where you really started to hear Busta pull away from the group, talent and lyrically-wise. Charlie was trying to keep up with him but you could hear that he was struggling to maintain the standard Busta was setting. You have to remember as well, Busta is a Jamaican by DNA, so it was only a matter of time before the dancehall vibes started to come through in his creativity as displayed on his verse with the Scenario. From that moment there, it was wrap for Charile Brown as Busta had now taken it to a next level due to the Yardie connection.

You know Bus was always Head Honcho of ' leaders of a new school '. Without even watching this interview, i always knew that Bus had a stronger chemistry with Tribe than LONS. Yo that’s crazy to think they broke up before they even put the first album out. I remember as a kid just thinking they was best friends who could all rap so they made a group.
