And, make them bookshelves/closet end nightstands (whatever iterations), as well as keep the above storage. You can add Victorian era molding when rehabbing the older closets. As for the newer closets, keep those. I'll just remove the one near the window and make it your vanity area, but choose a vanity that complements the closets and looks seamlesss. You can use the wall above the vanity for an art or decorative shelves.
