Love that you showed this! I built all of my furniture out of broken pieces of leftover furniture too! some I bought secondhand, some where gifted and some I had leftover from my childhood bedroom. I repurpose absolutely everything, to me everything is just materials😂
Awesome seeing your work! Makes me feel less weird for reusing everything 😆 Thank you for sharing!🥰

Oh my goodness! First of all, your ability to plan out your storage is impressive. And then how you repurpose items is truly inspiring. I admit, I am a bit jealous of your skills in those areas. Guess I have to keep watching and hope to pick up a bit here and there. And congratulations on your success!

What I love about you is your ability to see a vision and fulfil it. Your ability to repurpose items is truly inspiring. I’m big on recycling and make new clothes out of old ones. To see your ability in doing the same thing with furniture is fascinating. We are a very wasteful society and if we want future generations to appreciate what we have had then we need to repurpose and recycle. I’m loving your workshop as I bet you are too. It’s always fun when a dream and a plan comes together. Good luck with your new workshop and many happy days of recycling xxxx

It appears that you guys found a wonderful property. Airy, bright backyard. I love that garage even before you transformed it. The windows are great. When you open the doors and the windows you will have good air cross flow. You whipped it into a workshop in jig time. You are so organized. This workshop creation will be a fun journey for us, your viewers. I look forward to more developments.

Your repurposing is masterful. That wall unit was beautiful and still is. Using everything means a lot. I love the history, beauty and restoration in this and all you do. I love the vintage mid century wooden rectangular knobs too. All your meticulously thought out tetris puzzle like storage. Wow so many clamps. A sky light or two would give you more natural light too.

WOW- Fantastic space after using a dingy dirty looking driveway for so long and working in all sorts of weather conditions! I can only imagine what you will present to us in the future from your new Workshop. Using old pieces of furniture that you repurposed for your tools and storage is exactly what we would have expected you to do. It might all be done on a tight budget but you do it so well and at least save unwanted stuff going to land fill in the process.

Awsome job!! I love your organization and repurposing! I will use many of your ideas and thought I would share one with you. One thing that I have discovered with clamp storage; if you cut slots in your storage piece (on the same concept as you used for your drills only much narrower ~ 5mm wide by 50mm deep) you can just pop your clamp in with the length of the clamp first and you don't have to close the clamp every time you put your clamps away. Saves alot of time when putting away a lot of clamps and they are open when you go to use them. By the way, love your channel!

@FlippingDrawers thanks for sharing. I love that you spent so little on the wood. It looks like you have wasted space because the unit is so long. How about installing low profile casters on the bottom of the unit? This will allow you to store large sheet goods or something else behind it.
Since storage is always at a premium in workshops...a smart guy like you could easily create a rolling clamp rack with glue storage on board. Not only will it free up that corner but you would be able to roll it over to your project inside or outside. Yes, yes I'm jealous of your shop...love the walkway too!
