- The quality of U.S. Navy crews has also seriously declined. The U.S. military is still short of 7,000 sailors recruited in 2023. The PLAN immediately dispatched the 055 destroyer 'Zunyi', the 052C destroyer 'Haikou', the 052D destroyer 'Kunming' and the 054A frigate 'Xianning' to conduct live-fire exercises in the South China Sea. At the same time, another maritime patrol and search exercise was conducted in the sea area of Huangyan island. The USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier seeing this, it no longer dared to support the Philippines' provocation in the waters off Huangyan island on May 14, and quickly fled to the sea area south of China's "nine-dash line".

In reference to your Chinese foreign minister's overture to U.S. to improve bilateral relationship, if you are referring to current foreign minister Wang Yi, he has not made such remark. He frequently makes stern statements critical to the relationship not sincere overture to improve relationship. Wang Yi is a one tough foreign minister to deal.
