I went to visit my Dad in Lightning Ridge, a small outback town in New South Wales, Australia and a centre of the mining of black opal and other opal gemstones.

This was great to watch. I’ve been to Lightning ridge a couple of times to look for opal bits in the waste piles but I’ve never seen inside a mine. Looks amazing!! Thanks for sharing and good luck to your Dad & Joe.
