this is very sad to hear. what i dont understand is first of all why they dont have a fixed schedule for everyday that you can rely on every its different and on top of that from your experience they cant even keep their own schedule. even i was worried before getting on the ferry that if this guy keeps stopping me and i wont be able to go on the ferry then i will have to go by road at night and reach mumbai at 10 11 pm

I travel by Ro-Ro almost every week and have travelled from first ferry of Ro-Ro till date and never faced any issue till today I am a local resident of Alibaug and travel to Mumbai for my work and this ferry has helped me travel very comfortably, really a fantastic effort by government under Sagarmala really great way to travel
I travelled on the Sunday and went 3 more times since all my experiences were good except this one this was an unusually packed Sunday so this problem occurred and since then they have improved a lot since before. check out my coastal ride series most of our group members went by this ferry
now they have improved a lot even bike and cycle booking started since november itself this video was made after lockdown when bike booking was not available and i went on the busiest sunday last ferry

there is slight odor cause there is also a fishing jetty besides it and fishing ships come there but the smell was not enough to bother just a hint of it
This must be a one off experience. I have been on this exact ferry with this exact crew and stuff for 4 times, all times on the weekend, fully booked ferry at all times. The crew, staff and captains are an absolute delete to sail with. The best hospitality I have ever experienced. Love and recommend m2m ferries to everyone without a doubt 💕
For bikes incase you are not able to take the ferry you can head to rewas jetty and take launch from there. The last launch leaves at 5. There things are a bit flexible as loading takes some time so the last boat leaves around 5.30
Yes and i have also seen them drop a bike in the water in front of me while i was in the line to load my bike. I quitly backed out of there 😅 no more fewas ferry for my bike from then on.

Lights are switched off as it hampers the night vision of navigators. Glass windows would reflect lights and they won't be able to see othe ships in the vicinity clearly. It's basically just like how you would switch off car interior lights whilst driving at night.
You said roads for MUMBAI TO ALIBAUG are not good , I don't know when did you visited last .Road now are too better than the previous one . From vashi to kashid it takes 2 hrs to 2.5 hr to reach comfortably . Distance is 115 km .

bich me lockdown k bad the near wadkhal naka was really in a bad condition. we had a ride from that road and out of 42 ppl around 12 ppl faced bike issues like broken mcwheel and punctures on that road and our 8 hours return trip plan turned into 25hours plan as we had to keep repairing bikes one after other it was that bad. i recently went to coastal route and they built the road and now its much better than even before. this was before they built that bridge at wadkhal naka

if going from kandivali just go by road its faster for you. the roads are in really good condition. its faster as you travel to cst then wait for an hour then 1 and a half later u just reach mandwa its more atleast half an hour from there to alibaug. by road its cheaper and takes about same time. if you want an experience though you can go its nice
Perfect kelays. You need a cam with good image stabilization. When your are showing something in real time things do get blurry. Rest everything is great
Now they have started bike booking. And they get full on weekends so if you are planning to go i would suggest book a bit beforehand and reach 1 hour before the ferry takes off
I have used roro 6 times n have booked bike from online m2m website I dont know what you are talking about. But you did had a bad experience. Do check online booking for bike properly it is there just checked it again to be sure that it is not removed.
It was not there after lockdown and in november start they started it again and now even have cycle booking i had a conversation before our incident while we were waiting and suggested them that bike option should be there the person said bikes adjust ho jata hai to lagta nahi hai online booking so option nahi hai
no but online kar sakte ho booking or without vehicle direct bhi booking kar sakte ho mandwa jake. but i would suggest a normal ferry as it is way cheaper than RORO 300 for RORO and 100 rs for regular ferry

Depends on the budget there r 3 levels and 3 lounges from 300 to 1200 per person without vehicle. There is a food counter and everything. Bt honestly u reach in a little over 1 hour so spending so much doesnt make much sense to me as a middleclass person

@@GPSBABA the confusion was they never had bike brand der. They always had option of two wheeler in vehicle section. Most people get confuse coz they see car brand names in vehicle section. There user design is not correct. The employees are still in learning process.

Very much wrong information provided in this video. M2M ferry is awesome, yes economically the rates are little bit high, but traveling with kids and family its safe. In kitchen service there are many staff and they can held in much better way. This people must have done something wrong that why they are uploading such kind of video. Spoiling the company name. I myself travel through M2M ferry, not a single complaint.
Check out my reply on other cpmments they have improved a lot after i went there now online booking started ofbikes and even cycles we went there later on for our coastal ride and it was a good experience many improvements were seen since the lockdown was lifted so many people started traveling like flooding so they were also swamped
Its not available in the 4 wheeler section where you select car model bt this was not the case when i went last. We went to coastal ride some time back that time we booked the ferry online for bikes
They have improved a lot plus when i went it was sunday last ferry of the evening so rush was more if you go weekday its empty. Now the online booking for 2 wheeler also started

I think they should have to start online booking for two wheelers as well...
They do take online booking now for bikes and even cycles. Improved a lot, there is a number cap for online booking so that they dont overbook.

nice mine was not an everyday experience it was a long weekend and last ferry on sunday so it was crowded otherwise the ferry runs very smoothly

You can easily take a rickshaw from mandwa jetty to alibaug as soon as you get out there are rickshaw waiting at the jetty.
Very true, this is costly ride. Suitable for millionaires in south Mumbai. Timewise this not comfortable for people in suburban.

If interested in going by roro and since you are going by car you can do online booking and it's pretty smooth process. Just keep some spare time
There is also option for bicycle as well as bike (in the two wheeler type vehicle) on their website you might haven't seen it .

360 is basic ticket one way per person without vehicle. If you want upper deck then 450 and luxury lounge is 1250rs one way

No they are not required digital ticket is required i would not suggest going there to get a ticket
They don't asked for documents, but always carry documents in long trips. Coz tickets are not refundable.

I have used roro 6 times n have booked bike from online m2m website I dont know what you are talking about. But you did had a bad experience. Do check online booking for bike properly it is there just checked it again to be sure that it is not removed.
It was not there after lockdown and in november start they started it again and now even have cycle booking i had a conversation before our incident while we were waiting and suggested them that bike option should be there the person said bikes adjust ho jata hai to lagta nahi hai online booking so option nahi hai

no but online kar sakte ho booking or without vehicle direct bhi booking kar sakte ho mandwa jake. but i would suggest a normal ferry as it is way cheaper than RORO 300 for RORO and 100 rs for regular ferry

Depends on the budget there r 3 levels and 3 lounges from 300 to 1200 per person without vehicle. There is a food counter and everything. Bt honestly u reach in a little over 1 hour so spending so much doesnt make much sense to me as a middleclass person

just outside the jetty you can find rickshaw i dont know about ola uber as i have never been to alibaug without a vehicle but there are many rickshaw

@@ashishpatil8487 when this video was shot it was not available thats why had to do spot booking both times for bike. Only bike option was not showing. Thats why all had to wait outside nobody went who had prebooked

@@ashishpatil8487 this was just after lockdown ended that time only bike booking was desabled even they overbooked cars by 30 so on the spot there were only a few spots left. Many cars had to turn back

@@varymalkan7253 i checked the whole car section last time if they have some bike brand in car option bt it was not there now its showing in car section dont know if it was there before bt when i went i even had a conversation with the ferry person about bike booking. he said that they dont have an option bt you can book single person option so they allow bike also. bt to me it did not sound so convincing. bt now dont have to worry.
@@GPSBABA the confusion was they never had bike brand der. They always had option of two wheeler in vehicle section. Most people get confuse coz they see car brand names in vehicle section. There user design is not correct. The employees are still in learning process.

Very much wrong information provided in this video. M2M ferry is awesome, yes economically the rates are little bit high, but traveling with kids and family its safe. In kitchen service there are many staff and they can held in much better way. This people must have done something wrong that why they are uploading such kind of video. Spoiling the company name. I myself travel through M2M ferry, not a single complaint.
Check out my reply on other cpmments they have improved a lot after i went there now online booking started ofbikes and even cycles we went there later on for our coastal ride and it was a good experience many improvements were seen since the lockdown was lifted so many people started traveling like flooding so they were also swamped

bhai sabse last me 2 wheeler ka option hai...apne check nahi kiya thik se.... agar apka pahle se booking hai aur apko liya nahi to m2m ki galati hai... agar without pre booking on the spot jana hai hai ise issue aane hi hai usme apkiaur m2m ki galti nahi hai...
2 wheeler ka option abhi aya hai main gaya tha tab nahi tha and spot booking hi available tha after many people complaining about it they started that option on their website.
