Watching this now and I am transported back to the hysteria over his The Future Bites album. I loved it because his compositions are what matters to me. It may have been mostly synth but his songwriting came through, and that is what I love about Steve Wilson. He writes great songs, no matter what the instrumentation is.
Consumerism is only about ownership if the thing to be owned is brand exclusive and otherwise doesn't have a special purpose. Otherwise it's overwhelmingly about subscription based services
They go from talking about how wonderful immersive audio is (their very digital branch of business) to stating that a bunch of zeros and ones don't make it for them. I will leave the Israel thing out because everyone should have the right to change their mind about anything.
