I think they're both wonderful, talented, and diverse actors. Their conversation was real and earnest. Unlike most of the childish comments below, I don't feel the need to criticize Awkwafina's name or acting credentials, because at the end of the day she is a musical artist, actor, comedian, and author. 'The Farewell' was brilliant, and her performance profound and moving. Her skills are wide-ranging, and I can't wait to see more from her.
I love how Awkwafina is just so chill and laid back with the way she speaks. She doesn't try to show off with flashy eloquent words and vernacular. She's just cool with who she is :)

The way it's shot (no background music/noise, close-ups) makes it feel more awkward and intimate. Awkwafina was a great fit for an interview with Taron. It's good to see Taron like this, because with older actors he's always talking up to them. Not being a sycophant, that's not what I mean, but it's good to see him have an interview with someone more at his level and age. The contrast of their personalities actually makes this fun.
