my gaming OC- factory 1660 gives 98fps GTA 5 on ultra.. my friend has ventor 1660 ti but not OC .. gives 95fps.. so if you think of buying ventor or OC 1660 which are 50 euros apart get the 1660... and u say well i can overclock the ventor one .. u can but wont be the same.. factory overclock is different cuz they give u better cooling system and try to oveclok it safely ... either way just dont blow up ur card :D

Over 10 years later and the can it play Crysis benchmark is as relevant as ever. Btw for people asking about the cores he may have disabled two of the cores since most games on the market don't benefit more then four cores. Why do this? To reduce power draw and thermals can be one reason. The real reason why some avid gamers seek to do this is that by disabling more cores then can rapidly boost over clock performance in the remaining cores. This means if most of the games you play take advantage of four processors you can disable the extra cores beyond four to see better performance in overclocking them.

This card is probably the best on Budget to buy in 2019 save money and wait until next year for more game announcement this is perfect for RDRR2 PC , unless you have money to burn then you can invest in Ray tracing but not many ray tracing games out there except Cyber Punk which is in April 2020, my personal opinion spending around 400 to 600 on a card in 2019 is the best way to go.

In some games the temperature hit 83c that's very high I'm having the same problem with my 1660 Ti from MSI, even when lowering the settings to the lowest I still get 76c or 77c on many games I think the card is poorly designed and people should skip it and get the 2060 supper.
To all the people that wont stop complaining about the 4 Cores. He either forgot to enable them in MSI Afterburner or straight up lied which i don't think he did. Cores would usually show up like Core 0 and 5 so yea.

As long as the temperature is acceptable it will not degrade with time. Running at 87*C for a long time will cause issues even though its in the Thermal limits of the card. I've been running a heavily overclocked GTX 970 for the past 4 Years and i tested older games i ran when it was brand new and it runs exactly the same or in some cases better.

StarkMcQueen 😢 it‘s the same story as GTA IV. When the game came out you couldn’t play it properly even if you were above the recommended requirements. I hope I can play rdr2 at least on medium settings and 60fps
