Van Rysel Triathlon/TT Helmet

We take a look at the Triathlon helmet this can be used for Time Trials but is mainly designed to be quick during transition of a Triathlon, it does not have MIPS. You can fit some prescription glasses behind the visor, depending in how much they protrude from the face.

Any updates on the 'proper' aero helmet in development? Coming out soon or does this remain the only aero helmet for the time being?

This is the only one for now, there are two aero helmets coming though, should be later this year. The aero road helmet is likely to be first, then the full on TT helmet with hard case.

Hello, does this helmet protect the ears from the wind? I would like to know if the visor block enough wind.Thanks.

It does not enclose the ears but will block a bit if wind, if you wanted an enclosed helmet for TT then the Giro Selector or Kask Bambino is more the ticket until we release a TT helmet. This is primarily meant for Triathlon.

I just wonder about one thing, if you try to get into an aero position, and you have to look really much up, to keep an eye on the road, wont those shield vents blind you? Beeing the open space and not blocking the sun it could be pretty annoying

It could be, yes, this will depend on your position and the position of the helmet on your head. If you can ‘turtle’ your head then this will be less likely.

As far as I am aware, no, they will be releasing a short tail TT helmet this year or next and will also be releasing the aero road helmet without visor around the end of August if all goes to plan 🤞

It will indeed, depending on how massive your glasses are of course.
