Red Dead Redemption is a 2010 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. A successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, it is the second game in the Red Dead series. Red Dead Redemption is set during the decline of the American frontier in the year 1911 and follows John Marston, a former outlaw whose wife and son are taken hostage by the government in ransom for his services as a hired gun. Having no other choice, Marston sets out to bring three members of his former gang to justice.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. The player may freely roam in its interactive open world, a fictionalized version of the Western United States and Northern Mexico, primarily by horseback and on foot. Gunfights emphasize a gunslinger gameplay mechanic called "Dead Eye" that allows players to mark multiple shooting targets on enemies in slow motion. The game makes use of a morality system, by which the player's actions in the game affect their character's levels of honor and fame and how other characters respond to the player. An online multiplayer mode is included with the original release, allowing up to 16 players to engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting

Continua com a cara de um jogo antigo. Lembrem se que a Xbox já faz isso de poder jogar o RD 1 nos consoles atuais com a compatibilidade, enquanto a Rockstar tá cobrando por esse patch

50 bucks for having the same game as on xbox series x via retrocompatibility, on xbox for free, you don't pay twice, because the ps3 version doesn't work on ps5 (throw it in the trash or leave it to decorate the furniture), unlike in xbox, having your copy of the xbox 360, it even goes and looks better than the ps4/ps5 port...unfortunate

Yeah, I hate videos showcasing a game in 4K HDR, but not uploaded in HDR, but I don't even think there's HDR for Red Dead Redemption at all.
@@fabiandrinksmilk6205 there is an HDR option for games on PS4 as well on PS5, and depending on your monitor it would look better or worse, thats my understanding
@@dioenkai Yeah, but does Red Dead Redemption support HDR? I love HDR on my QD-OLED ultrawide, but the game has to support it and be well mastered for it. Red Dead Redemption 2 had fake HDR at first, it was SDR, but with the brightness scaled up to the display maximum. RDR2 now has working HDR, although it still doesn't look as good as games that were made for HDR. I doubt that this Red Dead Redemption port has any improvements in graphics or frame rate at all.
@@fabiandrinksmilk6205 i think the hdr is implemented in the ps5 software, or in its processor capacities, thats why the game doesnt support it, or either way the dude in the video is lying about HDR because after looking carefully the game looks the same lol
@@dioenkai The PS5 supports HDR, sure, but it needs to also he supported by the game. I don't believe that Sony has any equivalent to Microsoft's AutoHDR on Xbox and Windows. And video isn't even HDR, so there is no point in having HDR in the title.
