great work dude! waiting for ur 7900xtx benchmarks against windows. it would be great if u can compare nvidia and amd drivers on linux and compare them with their windows performances too!
well, there should be no difference in performance, as Nobara 40 is built on Fedora 40. Think of Nobara as a Fedora linux tweaked for gaming. I don't plan to make such a video as of now.
I've been loving Nobara 39. It's what it took to finally get me away from Windows. I want to upgrade to 40 but I'm a bit nervous since 39 is so reliable.
I think a lot of people are just accustomed to Windows and they don't give linux a shot. Also, gaming on Windows is straight forward, on Linux you have to use Proton or Wine, and not all games work.
I tried Nobara and Ubuntu and I must say that Nobara is easy to game on. When you install it you have Wine and proton installed as well alongside Lutris and Steam. It is really easy to start gaming. I didn't try Steam OS or other distros as there are many
Newer Nvidia drivers are improving the performance in linux in games, so this is good...
please make benchmark for other games like list of old & new games 🐧💙😅
please do 1080P better we want see 1080p benchmarks
Linux is popping i hope in future more gqames become natively launch & supported 🐧

Well I will add the 7900 xtx
I will add the average at the end with all GPUs
I've been on CachyOS and I love it. You should do some benchmarks of Monster Hunter World of windows VS linux and see how it compares!
I think there was another person saying to have a look at that distro, but there shouldn't be any performance difference
Any chance of seeing a comparison of Nobara 40 vs just normal KDE/Gnome Fedora 40? with the 4080 Super or 7900XTX

Well, it works well after all updates are applied. Give it a shot
why it feels hard & complicated to switch from windows to Linux from some TH-camrs Experience videos ?
