The way that monster's breath turned from strong wind to a megalaser beam reminded me of Shin Godzilla, actually this might be a reference to that. Also the way it crawled with its hind body dragging on the ground is very similar to that of Shin Godzilla too.
I know I'm expected to be roting for Momo, but Aira is my favorite character in the anime so far. The way she's completely oblivious of what's going on around her and instead lives in this ridiculous fantasy world where she's some sort of amazing hero chosen by the gods to save the world from evil because she's pretty is just hilarious to me. Also, the way she's not being a huge pussy about every social interaction helps as well. In a strange way, she's the most mature one of the bunch.

Although the difference for me is that Momokarun is such a well written romance it's no wonder they outshine everyone else, meanwhile romance was the weakest point of Avatar so I can definitely see why Zutara was more popular and compelling than Kataang despite it being obvious it wasn't going to happen in canon.

I love these transformations, this is what I expected when the Vizards showed up to fight Aizen. I thought they would transform like the Espada, or like Ichigo did during their training. I thought there would be more of a hybrid transformation. I really love everything I've seen so far.

So, when she saw Aira and Ken together, she felt betrayed and disappointed. _I'm trying to give you my time to chat and have fun without the need of fighting Yokai and Aliens but you don't correspond_ Momo's feelings towards Okarun are evolving quickly, from an initial pity to admiration and a desire for Ken's well being and happiness (Momo really cares for and enjoys Ken's development), which then evolves into a genuine love crush on Ken. Episode 8 marks the ignition of Momo's crush, Aira working as the catalyst.
