Hi Nick, how are you going? Are you still doing bee research and development? I live in Queensland and have carbonaria hives. I’ve noticed a decline in local tree hives. Large trees that once had hives now are empty. Have you heard of this and what would cause this? Only cause I have concerns about something happening to my hives.
Thanks for the video. Informative and interesting as always. Keep it up mate. This year has been a poor production year for bees here in the western suburbs of Brisbane because of lack of rain so I chose not to do any splits. I hope next year is better.
Interesting information. I’m seeking research related to medicinal applications of honeys across species. Do you recall where to find the information? Also makes sense that antibacterial honey will not have an impact on candida which as you said feeds on sugar, and is a yeast/fungus.
Yes of course, any bees can. Manuka is just one type of of leptospermum aka tea tree, Jellybush is another, very similar, type (both contain DHA; which creates the 'active' component of the honey)
Hey Nick... very interesting. In a time when people are moving away from big Pharma and moving to TCM and other Holistic forms of medicine it is interesting to learn the benefits of NASBH.
Hi thanks nik, very useful video, may I use this video to promote stingless bee honey in Indonesia? People here dont really understand about this great local honey
I couldn't agree more on the promotion of stingless bee, in Malaysia although the government launched a long term plan and declared stingless bee honey as a super food, it doesn't seem leave a lot of positive impact on public opinion.
Alexey Chekhunov fantastic question!! Also one I don’t know. I do not think we have done any study on austroplebeia as yet. If you had to guess what would your guess be?
Australiannativebee well since Austroplebea don’t really rely on raisin so much their honey does not get infused with all the goodness of propolis so it’s not as good probably.
Stingless bee honey is the only honey which is categorized as medicine and the rest of honeys are categorized as food
thank you for that info. The categorization is done by which agencies? Thanks so much.
Thank you for your knowledge Sir

I like to eat honeycomb, can the same be done with the stingless bees? Thanks from New Jersey 😁
Where can I buy some organic stingless bee honey
I had always thought the antibiotic effect of honey came from the honey pulling the moisture from the bacteria effectively dehydrating the little pest
May I have the 2010 Stingless Bee Honey Research Paper from you?
Can stingless bees make Manuka Honey if they visit jelly bushes?
No
