I saw an advertisement for this on Facebook and im glad a ran to TH-cam for an honest review before i purchased. I'll just watch these to get an idea on what i need to buy and purchase a better quality version.
I have two eatons and my red walmart midland out performs both eatons and it was cheaper.
I just placed my order for Steel to Reel quarterly box. After watching your video I sent an email to there customer service to cancel my order. They advertise that the box is worth over $300. That’s not even close to being true after watching your video.
For a quarterly box it seems to be lacking. Its smarter to buy what you need and like, no fluff.
I can’t wait to hear your comments on the most recent Steel to Reel box. I have my own opinion, but welcome your thoughts. Will you do a comparison video to recommend the best subscription service for survival items?

@@clarkcrates9046 that’s a tough question, if I had to pick a box overall for outdoor items it would probably be battlbox, you can search my channel for them and skim through like a year plus of videos and see if you would be happy with their offering. Thanks for watching
Pocket shot makes a handle to mount it on and an arrow set up also. It works pretty good.

Brad: I've watched a lot of your unboxing's videos and I think 75% of the stuff is cheap junk that you get over and over again. These places think if they send you a halfway decent knife that there doing something great. I'm glad you're doing the review, so I don't waste the money

For $399 for that quarterly I am very disapponted. Most of it looked like amazon specials

I like our rinse bottle from Amazon we use it to wash hands during camping and wash feet off at the beach clips to the car handle on the cieling or on our kitchen kit when camping

I just received an email from Steel to Reel. They were very short with their response to my cancellation email. They wouldn’t address the reason for the quarterly box value being under $200 on Amazon.
I quit the Steel to Reel subscription because it felt like it has gone to junk. No card and like you said a lot of repeating items. I started to feel ripped off.

$400 for that box is attrocious. If you bought everything separately, it would have cost you half. Also to get the same items is even maddening bc for $400 you should get new items every time. Plus, they are thrown in the box with absolutely no care. That 1 is open and making all the ither boxes dirty. Again $400?? No.
Edit: I just searched for every item exactly online and I could get everything in that box for about $115. What makes it worse is they clearly got thia crap on bulk and thats why so many boxes have the same junk. So its even cheaper for them bc of bulk. No curation or anything. Just crap in a box.
Edit edit: then to top it off...gas station knives that cost $5. Wow.
I cancelled them months ago.....they suck and seem to rip you off......they kept sending me emails after I cancelled telling me they had improved there boxes but obviously they haven't

All of these companies have to know they're tripping over each other and sending out the same items repeatedly to their customers. Only thing I can assume is they must believe the majority of their customers aren't subscribing to multiple companies and therefore don't receive the "duplicated" items. Either that or they don't care as it's cost effective to continue doing what they have been. Makes me wonder how it all goes down, ya know?
You or one of your "super fans" should go back and inventory all the items from your previous sub boxes and continue to do so. That way you can have a super quick reference to see if/when you received said duplicate item. Maybe do a GAW to said person who agrees to do it? That's if you're not losing your mind with all of the items in all of the boxes. Btw, do you gift a lot of your items or do you have a stockpile of miscellaneous for yourself to go through one day?

I think he means that this Steel to Reel box had mostly the same stuff he got from other boxes that were cheaper. I don't think he has any other STR boxes. But either way, STR doesn't seem to be anything special at all and costs a ton.

These guys copy Battlbox exactly. Doesn’t seem like they are capable of individual thinking, much easier to copy others.
