@@user-kz9rz8ui1c wow that does sound very good. I think if you like a deeper pitch then it for sure sounds just as good but personally I love that higher pitch pop
@@theguitarplayer102 thats because the sound test in the video is using tangies which are shorter stem while these are using creamsicles which are long stem. They both have the same housing so the creamsicle will likely have a "clackier" sound profile. Also, case style may be the difference maker, as plastic cases are often a bit deeper then alu cases, while losing a bit of sound depth in exchange.
i was already loving the video but then i heard the sound test and OH MY GOD that has gotta be one of the, if not THE best sounding keyboard I've ever heard in my life.
Hey great video! I was wondering what your aperture and shutter speed settings are for this video? Also was wondering where you got the trays from for the screws?
very high quality video!! you got my sub :) I plan to build my suit tomorrow but I wonder is that 3 screw on attach on your pcb and plate are standoff ? and why hotswap need to install it ?
I think that they are designed to help you build and disassemble the keyboard by keeping pcb and plate together when there aren't switches. In this case where both the pcb and plate are very flexible, they make it easier for you to put the switches on the hotswap sockets without damaging them. The disadvantage is that it makes the typing experience a little bit stiffer. You don't have to use them if you don't want to. Just make sure all your switch pins are straight and you should be good to go
Thanks for the support! Yup as Rodolfo mentioned the standoffs are there to keep the subassembly together when the switches aren’t installed. They’re not necessary and I removed mine off camera.
Wow this quality is insane! TKL isn’t my favorite but the Mr. Suit is so nice!!!! You deserve more view with videos like this, so therapeutic, keep up the good work.
Amazing sound! So nice! Can I ask though, in the description you mention ‘pe foam under the switches’. Do u mean the foam that comes with the suit kit, or you’ve added more pe foam/switch pads? Keep up the awesome work!
This video was recorded using a pair of neumann km184s into a mixpre 10 (will be changing my setup). I record my videos at night which also helps to significantly minimise background noise.
yo mhvp im not sure what batch my tangerines are from and i just ordered creams will they work? I read the newer c3s dont work with the creams anymore. And is there a huge difference with the tangies and the creamsicles on the mr suit? :)
I have heard of people having issues with making creamsicles from new switches. It looks like we have read differing information as I read that it was the cream stems that were retooled to be larger which can cause binding issues when used in creamsicles. I haven't tried regular tangies on the mr suit but in other boards the cream stem makes a significant difference in sound, providing a more clacky sound profile.
This is definitely the best sounding keyboard I’ve ever heard, it literally sounds like marble, I wish I could have one
pe foam on any gasket mount board should sound similar if not exactly the same
@@user-kz9rz8ui1c I dunno, link me some sound test videos that sound just the same haha

bro the mic sounds amazing
😱 they sound like marbles hitting each other
have the exact same setup but with a green Mr suit. I can't settle for anything less now
Great vid. I hope to get some Owlstabs in my R2. Saving this video to watch when it comes in!

Awesome video and sounds great!
Bro I hope my keychron q1 with creamsicles can sound like this after some modding
Good luck! With enough foam you should be able to get something similar
This guy has a really good video on how to make the Q1 sound less hollow and better 🤔

did you buy pre-cut out pe foam? or did you make it yourself

How's the flex on this one? I was going to do a build with creamsicles to but was unsure how much foam to place in.
With all foams there really isn’t much flex at all. If you want some flex U recommend taking out the case foam
Sheesh sounds like marbles
If you dont mind me asking what do you record your sound tests with, there its basically no background noise its amazing.
