Hello... I took two sticks of black pipe, 2", used a coupling, drilled holes, it's stands 22' high...have two flags up there... works quite well... attached it to the awning of the house, with a muffler clamp...one man can put it up or bring it down to change the flags...been there now for 12 years...think about it...poor man's flag pole...it works...easy, an cheap...

Imagine putting a padlock on a clear plastic security ring so no one can steal your flag.
Shouldn't they have atleast made the security ring out of the same metal as the pole?
Any hammer or screwdriver will break that plastic ring off.

OMG, that was the FRIST thing that popped into my head. Grab the lock and twist it would in my opinion snap PLASTIC ring right off. Make it just like the other rings. "C'mon man"

What holds the section divider rings in place? The pole I am looking to replace the section rings were made of plastic and glued in place. The glue didn't hold and the plastic sections did not last.
If anyone is interested it was a Telepole, customer service was horrible and build quality was substandard.

If you want to properly fly a flag, then the flag size gets bigger as the pole size increases.

Am looking at this pole after flying a 25 ft four piece Chinese competitor after less than two years. The pole is junk having inferior plastic components losing their grip with glue gone bad. Four cross pins wearing badly at ends were locking the poles. This Liberty design looks to be simple well thought out and American. Had I known my prior purchase was from China ahead of time I would not have bought from that company. Shame on me and shame on them. Still researching….
