    _______________
In this video, Dr Ryan discusses an online program focused on Core Muscle Engagement and its impact on Chronic Back Pain. He emphasizes the importance of understanding and engaging the abdominal muscle group rather than solely relying on stretching the lower back muscles. The program was designed by him, based on his own experiences, and focuses on resetting the neuromuscular system and helping build foundational Core Connections, drawing inspiration from infant development. He addresses setbacks and flare-ups, advising his students to return to foundational modules in the program to continue healing. His message stresses the significance of self-education and empowerment in managing and overcoming back pain.

I want to cry. I’ve been thru so much with my back over 26 yrs incl surgeries (2 fusions rods then bone harvest and periformis release), infections, ablation, massage, chiro etc. Post surgery no real rehab was prescribed so I bounced from PT to PT until my one now. I was initially left with residual pain across the top of my sacrum and nerve pain in left SI. I finally got off a cane. Then 3 yrs ago I was misdx w/ hip labral tear but surgeon said right SI loose. I cried. I also cope with chronic illness too so really trying to grt this SI pain resolved. I’ve not been able to sit w/o pain for many yrs. No seat cushion helps. I wish I’d found my now PT and your videos long ago esp before surgery. Thank you. 🙏

Thank you for this discussion. As I am learning more, and working through training my body more effectively with my fairly new diagnosis of back concerns, i am grateful for your firsthand knowledge of this issue and how to manage it longterm. The light dimmer is moving up... through knowledge and new actions taken consistently. Much gratitude for your aid in this healing process.

❤ So it is for many.. i must say. It took me years to be able to engage my core nerves as in what you mean with core connection.. i have failed surgery. Had an ablation that felt very wrong.. it felt for years as if i was cut in half and nobody could adress that. Pt in my country do not have a clue what is needed. Started to do my own research.. all that mental and financial stress.. recognize all you say.. and you on your channel is accurate! As what i learned over the years myself.. i can truly recommend this guy ! Serious backissues are such a burden to bare....

Excellent video! Great discussion. Thank you Dr Peebles. Your training is spot on and has been life changing. Through eight months of consistent training, I have finally learned to engage the core muscle groups needed to perform the perfect bridge.

Your videos are so helpful. I have a silly question, but do you have any tips for bracing your spine to open a window? That activity seems to trigger my back pain. Is there anything else I should be doing? Besides bracing my core?

Honestly thought you were talking about me. As much as I strech I’m tight again. I do feel relief in neutral spine however I can’t hold it too long. How much is your program.
