Before I knew anything about this game, I picked her because I always pick pally for my first char normally. I still use her, love her and she is my favourite beginning champ.
For campaign farming I highly recommend having 110+ speed so you're faster than Diabolist, since that's one of the foods you'll be leveling up a lot and she has 109 speed so it slows your runs if she is faster than you farmer.
For Athel's Greater Blessings Increase Defense, 2 turns isn't enough when it grants her an extra turn it automatically eats up one of those 2 turns. She only really has it for 1 turn. It should have her Increase Defense for 3 or maybe even 4 turns imo.

I am using a team with maxed athel, warmaiden, and diabolist and am at a point of trying to figure out the best allies to pair them with atm, any ftp options you would recommend?

How about Renegade. I see lots of people recommending to six star but no builds. I assume Reflex, tanky and as fast as you can for Doom tower wave clearing. Or build 2
Dark Athel? Maybe? i found her under rated. i found her even useful against the Griffin floor 90. By the way i got a Taras as my 3rd legendary pretty early in as a new player. Just rubbing it in LoL
If you have everything every gear and masteries its easy but as a f2p player its not,you hardly get good champions only the same rares all the time or useless rares.and you cant come that far too get good 6 star artifact gonna take alot of time.
I don't understand why you say her name with a long A, when it should be a short a. You don't say Ethel with a long E. Athel and Cupidus farm brutal 12-3 in 9 seconds.

Fun fact: you can place the weaken even on weak hits

This starter doesnt really compare to kael in progression. But the big version of weaken can be insane esp in clanboss.
Yeah, my second account went her, and I really regret it. She’s much weaker than Kael, especially in early game when your gear is trash.
