I'm a fan of a single 3/3 for those 6 stars that don't need immediately leveled after taking to six stars. After that, as long as their timers are long enough its good. Sometimes I check before logging off if a unit is close and will just take them to the next level in tavern if I am going to be off for long enough and they are near leveling. The sparring pit is essential for the FTP and depending in your time spent ingame i would recommend upgrades aswell (when you got gems to spare). I use the pit to upgrade the final level (39/40) when the level up is very close. If i know im going to afk for a long time i try to put in champions that have very long leveling up times. Use the pit. I don´t think clicking the sparring pit is daunting, i actually kinda enjoy it. But everyone to their own :-)
@Gegota82 you can always put in champs that have 10+ hours of your going to be gone longer. I've been using it for almost 4 years, so it's been a great investment for me. Players that don't play often, then they're not going to make the most of it.
I followed this advice in my main account and went great, and in my alt the sprring pit was the 3rd upgrade i did with the gems (after masteries of my farmer and fully unlok the mine) and is really uusefull... I saw the wishes video before this and im glad to see that i think i pitched the idea of the 15 advanced quest for you to chose 10 XD... i hope they do that
I always put in 4s with 8 brews in, during some training event. Thats starting from lvl 28 if remembering correctly. From this point, you need to click on sparring pit like every 7+h and you have them at lvl40 circa at the time of the next training event
If you play a lot, upgrading the slots is amazing. If you don't, then it's not. If you progress quickly early on, you will probably cascade into more gems than you can use, and then upgrading these is really great.

Yes this helped me alot. I started doing this about a month ago. I spend alot of gems maxing out My sparing pit. 😂😂........ yes it used to drop Ancients but they Nerf the shit out of that a few years ago.
I have 16 or so Level 40 champions. To me, the big pain is bringing the level 30s up to 4 stars. It takes about 100 level 20 champs to level 50 to 6 star. That being said, I always, level 3 stars to 21, 4 stars to 31, and 2 stars to 19 when I'm doing a champion training competition and then they Max in the pit the rest of the way. Now that I have a good CB team, blue shards are easier, so I guess I can use 3 stars as chickens.
Endgame player. And I will admit, I unlocked all the slot, upgraded them all to lv 2, and 2 to lv 3. And all I do is put all my food in them. I do put my work in progress 6 stars in them at night when I go to sleep. But everything else is just future chickens. It's helped me with a lot of training events and preparing for future fusions as well.
This is smart strategy. Choose five that need eight hours to level up and put them in before you go to bed. When you wake up, replace them with five that need 16 hours to level up. Alternate back and forth... and just remember to switch them out before you turn in and when you wake up.
I always have 4 star food in my sparring pit, and get at least 10 lvl40 food ready to 5* per month, I never farm lvl 40 in campaign in so long now that I'm doing this, some peps in my fb group that I join thinks it's a waste of time or resources without even knowing how amazing it is as long you log in every day and take care of it, this also makes champ training a lot easier since you're only leveling up 2 and 3 star foods on campaign to upgrade them to 4, to upgrade those lvl40 food to 5* and get them to lvl 26 ((6 brews and 1* food) for 5* foods) afterwards which is a lot of points in champ training I put 1 brew and 3 1*food for 1* food to 2* food, I tend to just feed 2* food to another 2* to upgrade to 3* since it's a waste of resources, 2 brews for 3* food (lvl15), 4 brews for 4* food (lvl21) and 6 brews and 1*food for 5* food (lvl26) this is by far as efficient for me Upgrading a 1* food to 2* with 1 brew and 3 1*food is just a lot easier specially if there's both a summoning event and champ training so you can just farm the 2* food in campaign to upgrade them to 3*
I just leave bluestacks open all night long when I'm asleep and while I'm at work with a macro clicking the level ups. I get tons of food and other champs maxed out this way. I've definitely unlocked and upgraded every single one and have been using it for years.
I've been using this system since I started to be honest. I maxed out my sparring pit because as a player who uses lower rarity champions, it is harder to actually build up food. So the sparring pit makes it 10x easier. I'm also f2p so there's that as well.
As a F2P, I've used sparring pit from the start, but never in an organized way. That's the key. Also, ditto on the 12-3 brutal campaign farming, that's my go-to as well. I've been playing over two years, have multiple lvl 60, booked and ascended champs, but still haven't been able to 3 star 12-7 nightmare.
Use a Paragon' or otjer unkilable chmps. I've beat that with jist Scyl and a level 30 stoneskin Paragon. You can do it also without the stone skin' just make sure he goes before the enemy.
@@shinyoriTwo years of playing and I still have no unkillable or block damage champs. I've had Paragon, but never leveled him up. I envy people with unkillable teams, I'd love to try that just once.
When I started playing in 2023, my goals were to get my mine and my sparring pit in full production as quickly as possible. I spent gems on nothing else.
I won't run out of chickens. Lmao. Mostly because I unlocked and have always used the full sparring pit, but also I hoard food in case of champ tourney's. Glad I do too, got me Krisk. I must have 3-400 5 star foods.
Soon as my champs are 6 star I do their masteries in minotaur and level them that way. They're always 60 before they're done (assuming you use 4 unmastered champs and 1 farmer)
wrong way... if i may be so blunt. You gotta start Mino at level 5-1 on your 4 champs. bring them to 50, rank them up, then continue in Mino until they're all done. At the end, they should be around level 57. In other words, you can skip all the levelling up in rank5 and be only short 3 levels from level 60 at the end. You can then either use pit to finish them, or, better yet, equip+mastery them then either send them as main farmers until 60 (some are kinda slow, but it works) or, slot them in any dungeon team as 5th non-essential member, or even as new temporary Minotaur farmer, if they can do it.
so i just estimated how long it takes me by using ONLY the sparring pit. 30 days to level 600x commons into 5x 5star food. OR 15 days to level 300x 2star into 5x 5star food. OR 8 days to level 100x 3star into 5x 5 star food. considering i get a mixture of common, uncommon, and rare to use as food, additionally, i do the "win 7 campaign" and "win 3 campaign boss" dailies, i would estimate it only takes about 8 days of sparring pit to turn them into 5x 5star food.
well, you put 5 useless 4* champions in there, rank them to 5* when they're at level 40, then use them as chickens. If it's a champ training tournament or event, you should take them for a few rounds of campaing or feed them a few brews before feeding them, for easy cheap points
You're right. Why do we even have to log in? Daily rewards should just be given automatically, and my clan boss keys and rewards should just cycle automatically. We shouldn't even have to log in to do anything
Don't listen to them. First max out your gem mine so that you have some passive generation of gems. You can get more gems elsewhere, but it's best to have as many as you can. Then unlock every slot in the sparing pit and then max out the slots. The higher the level that you are training a champion in the longer it takes. Hours if your lucky. I don't remember how long because I usually just throw them in there and check on them once in a while. However if it didn't take almost half a day at the higher levels I would be surprised.
Disagree with him on the nightmare campaign - 12-6 yields more exp per energy and I use it alot to level up one of my new geared 6 stars in combination with food. Once you're past a certain amount of mystery shards, i dont see the point of continuing to collect them from farming brutal
if you are f2p you can spend 6-8k mysteries completing summon events saving all your important shards for better events, therefore you will never do Nightmare campaign as the upside of Brutal is too high.
Leveling up champs in the sparring pit from level 20 to 40 requires 20 visits to the pit, does it not? How is that efficient? Also, that process takes a week; whereas three can be leveled up in the campaign simultaneously in ¼ hour.
Over 12k views and not even 850 likes, if you want the CC's to be able to put out content then at least hit the like if you watch the video even if it doesn't really help you out. They are put out for all the levels of players not just endgame players
Leveling up champs in dungeons is ok if you can do 2 or more, but the amount of xp they get is very low when compared to campaign. I only do it if in the 4 Keep dungeons

I saw the wishes video before this and im glad to see that i think i pitched the idea of the 15 advanced quest for you to chose 10 XD... i hope they do that
ty 4this time sving strat MTG,, gonna git on it immdtly...Always the bst when can SAVE TIME in RAID !!!
Thanks!
I always put in 4s with 8 brews in, during some training event. Thats starting from lvl 28 if remembering correctly. From this point, you need to click on sparring pit like every 7+h and you have them at lvl40 circa at the time of the next training event
Good method. I think there's a few things you can do to min-max this strategy, but overall, this is the way to go.
so put champions in pit... wow super cool tip. :P
sending some lov and positiv vibes your way ASH !
If you play a lot, upgrading the slots is amazing. If you don't, then it's not. If you progress quickly early on, you will probably cascade into more gems than you can use, and then upgrading these is really great.
Ash dude you’re the best and I listen to you all the time! I can’t understand why you wouldn’t let that Jedi guy get a word in during the entire video. You kept interrupting him! Wtf. I mean, you’re better than him overall, we aren’t going to leave you for him, were you subconsciously jealous that he was going to steal your viewers? Whatever man, I’m still with you but that was just weird!! Bill, a loyal supporter.
Yes this helped me alot. I started doing this about a month ago. I spend alot of gems maxing out My sparing pit. 😂😂........ yes it used to drop Ancients but they Nerf the shit out of that a few years ago.
I learned this valuable tip from Mtgjedi a long time ago and I always have chicken available to 6 star my champions 🎉
Yo ash love your content thank for the raid videos hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New with the family wishing you a good 2025
Endgame player.
I always have 4 star food in my sparring pit, and get at least 10 lvl40 food ready to 5* per month, I never farm lvl 40 in campaign in so long now that I'm doing this, some peps in my fb group that I join thinks it's a waste of time or resources without even knowing how amazing it is as long you log in every day and take care of it, this also makes champ training a lot easier since you're only leveling up 2 and 3 star foods on campaign to upgrade them to 4, to upgrade those lvl40 food to 5* and get them to lvl 26 ((6 brews and 1* food) for 5* foods) afterwards which is a lot of points in champ training
I put 1 brew and 3 1*food for 1* food to 2* food, I tend to just feed 2* food to another 2* to upgrade to 3* since it's a waste of resources, 2 brews for 3* food (lvl15), 4 brews for 4* food (lvl21) and 6 brews and 1*food for 5* food (lvl26) this is by far as efficient for me
Upgrading a 1* food to 2* with 1 brew and 3 1*food is just a lot easier specially if there's both a summoning event and champ training so you can just farm the 2* food in campaign to upgrade them to 3*
I just leave bluestacks open all night long when I'm asleep and while I'm at work with a macro clicking the level ups.
Been doing this for years. I thought this was the norm ... and frankly, the expectation for the Sparring pit.
This is a great ideal thank you
Also upgrading them for fusions. I have one of the legendarys for mikage in the pit. 😊
Ash what other games do you play that you recommend that I can download and follow you on
As a F2P, I've used sparring pit from the start, but never in an organized way.
@@JonBrittonakaDoubleTap You can get it done with paragon at any level' as long as it's faster than the enemy.
When I started playing in 2023, my goals were to get my mine and my sparring pit in full production as quickly as possible. I spent gems on nothing else.
lol, I find it hilarious that a pro like you also has only the first slot upgraded, maybe I'm also secretly a pro.
Ive been doing this forages, save chickensaswell and youll be fine for fusion
5 years in on day one I maxed the gem mine and then the sparring pit, before master and reserve vault was a thing.
I won't run out of chickens. Lmao. Mostly because I unlocked and have always used the full sparring pit, but also I hoard food in case of champ tourney's. Glad I do too, got me Krisk. I must have 3-400 5 star foods.
Most funny colab
I’ve been screaming to the world about how the CC seems to disregard their training grounds!!!
I've been doing that with my sparring pit since I started playing 6 yrs ago.
Why do you need mystery shard insted of blue shard??
So with lady Noel and nick we could slow run dungeons with food.
Yeap been doing this for awhile 😂, but I do feel nightmare is faster to level..
It is faster to level the only downside is you don't get mystery shards, if ur green shard count is sky high, nightmare all the way i say
@westonXkent yeah point taken
HEYYYYYY HI ASH I'm not shouting I just left caps on. 😊
should i still get warmaiden if i have tayrel and rector?
and other campaign farmable heroes should i get and not get if i have these 2. thanks a lot
Yes. Warmaiden is completely different from those two, and is good for FW all the way to 21 with Scyll at level 50
I play Raid on my computer so I'll open the game up in the morning then just click my characters as they level. its effective and doesn't cost energy
I only use my gems on energy refils, and Arena refreshes to complete the Arbiter missions. That's all I got to spare lol
so i just estimated how long it takes me by using ONLY the sparring pit.
30 days to level 600x commons into 5x 5star food.
OR
15 days to level 300x 2star into 5x 5star food.
OR
8 days to level 100x 3star into 5x 5 star food.
considering i get a mixture of common, uncommon, and rare to use as food, additionally, i do the "win 7 campaign" and "win 3 campaign boss" dailies, i would estimate it only takes about 8 days of sparring pit to turn them into 5x 5star food.
I am far to forgetful to remember the sparring pit xD
I have it fully maxed an always keep champs in there
How do you out chickens in the starting pitch?
well, you put 5 useless 4* champions in there, rank them to 5* when they're at level 40, then use them as chickens. If it's a champ training tournament or event, you should take them for a few rounds of campaing or feed them a few brews before feeding them, for easy cheap points
Been doing this from day one, and it was maxed after the gem mine.
Shadow legendary of my Matt Orville volume up playing F2 Justin Branson up all my team
The tip is at 5:40
Do the chickens appear as a prize?
I am going to do it now. Im ftp i log in often i will upgrade to max after this video.
Without auto lvl up, this function is garbage.
You're right. Why do we even have to log in? Daily rewards should just be given automatically, and my clan boss keys and rewards should just cycle automatically. We shouldn't even have to log in to do anything
@@adameves5970 I also speak sarcasm fluently.
adameves5970 if you person without real life, and if you spend more than 2-3 hours a day on a mobile game, then I feel very sorry for you 🤦♂️
@@kotbegemot4223what if you are retired and disabled?
I'm sure you're😢nice to be around.
Unlocked all of them. tHIS WOULD SAVE ME ALOT OF TIME.
Ash! Let the man speak!!!
I have 3 and ATM i have 6 Star Champs in IT,Most over 50.
So i use the Sparring Mist of the time
Don't listen to them.
How many diamonds is the upgrade of level 2/3 and 3/3 in the sparring team?
400
I basically knew this, and I still don’t use it every time LMAO
Disagree with him on the nightmare campaign - 12-6 yields more exp per energy and I use it alot to level up one of my new geared 6 stars in combination with food. Once you're past a certain amount of mystery shards, i dont see the point of continuing to collect them from farming brutal
if you are f2p you can spend 6-8k mysteries completing summon events saving all your important shards for better events, therefore you will never do Nightmare campaign as the upside of Brutal is too high.
I'm curious how many mystery shards you have?
All that caff 😅
if Magic came out with a game like Raid?! OMG
You guys said "Chicken" so many times, I'm thinkin' _"Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner."_ KFC here I come!
i have been using sparring pit since i started > 2 years ago
Leveling up champs in the sparring pit from level 20 to 40 requires 20 visits to the pit, does it not? How is that efficient? Also, that process takes a week; whereas three can be leveled up in the campaign simultaneously in ¼ hour.
What is the best way to use a feast?
You get the most value out of epics as ur saving 4x4* chickens + 5x5* chickens as apose to only saving 5x5* chickens
Hey Ash , can you please make video on farming Mythical boots
Over 12k views and not even 850 likes, if you want the CC's to be able to put out content then at least hit the like if you watch the video even if it doesn't really help you out. They are put out for all the levels of players not just endgame players
Thanks so much!
i don't use them as »chickens«, which they are not, but as fertilizers, which they are.
Leveling up champs in dungeons is ok if you can do 2 or more, but the amount of xp they get is very low when compared to campaign. I only do it if in the 4 Keep dungeons
this blows my mind. i assumed everyone used their sparring pit and had it fully upgraded.
Lol you should have seen my face when I realized it too
Yeah!😅
