Good people we met.. Nice Professors , Doctors..some were very friend to me ....
Still remembered very bad thing happened in the ragging season of my first day at the hostel. I crossed the " yaka palama" at about 4am because of fearing to the physical ragging. Some times it was my last day, without knowing anybody.

මට පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට යන්න බැරි උනා. ඒත් මගේ ගෙදර තියෙන්නේ පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට පිටුපස. විනාඩි 2න් පයින් යන්න පුලුවන් දුරකින්. ඉතින් පොඩිකාලෙ ඉදලම අද වෙනකනුත් ඒ සුන්දරත්වය මම විදිනවා.. ඒ වගේම තමයි campus ground එකෙත් හැම සති අන්තයකම එදා ඉදලම අදටත් මම ක්‍රිකට් ගහන්න එනවා ඉන්න කොල්ලොත් එක්ක. පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය පුරාම ගොඩක් මිහිරි අත්දැකීම් තියනවා මට.. 😊

In the material world, my best fortune was to study at the Peradeniya University. I had loads of marks to enter the Colombo Medical Faculty. But purposely, I chose Peradeniya because my childhood dream was to be here. I have seen the universities of Oxford & Cambridge. They are great. But, when it comes to the scenic beauty, Peradeniya is NUMBER ONE on the planet! Believe me. Deerghayusha wewa!
