THANKS SO MUCH for making this video, you helped me fix my beloved Sig P365!!
I had the exact same problem discribed. After removing the slide I accidentally pulled the trigger and when I put the slide back on it was too far back and I was unable to remove it. I found out from watching your video, that this is indeed caused by the 'hammer/trigger' mechanism the silver bit at the back, coming forwards. It just needs pushing back down with a flat head screw driver until it locks back.
The challenge though, was getting the slide off from this 'locked backwards' position. This is how I managed it for anyone else struggling.. pull the slide back as far as you can with one hand..then place the end of the slide downwards on a table top (put a cloth under else you will scratch the back of your sig!) and apply a considerable amount of downwards force. This forces the slide rail off from that locked state without damaging the P365 at all! Now you proceed to push the hammer mechanism thingy back down and 'reset' the trigger mechanism so your slide rail will go back on correctly.
I've had no issues at all with my gun after this fix. One thing I will say though to P365 Co2 owners is be very careful with the mag fixing nut, it's really shoddy of Sig to make that from cheap-ass alluminum as over time the allen key wears it out and the mag needs replacing (not cheap). I did this to mine from plenty of use and over-tightening..it's hard to estimate how tight to do it to get a firm seal compared to other CO2 pistols I own which use a wing-nut and tighten flawlessly every time compared to the Sig which can be very hit and miss (mine at least)...with many cartridges wasted and eventually the hex allen hole wearing out...getting the mag nut out was a real pain in the butt but I managed to do it with a hammer and flathead! I think this whole fixing nut thing could have been better designed in the P365 and is something of a design flaw..at least use steel Sig on a part like that come on! Perhaps they'll bring out an upgrade?
I'm sure there must be a similar sized steel end fixing nut (as used for plumbing etc) from hardware stores or online the same size and thread which could be sprayed black and replace the original. I know AliExpress have some which look the right size even with an allen key hole in middle, cheap. Failing that, maybe it's possible to make some clones on a 3D printer from hard enough plastic and just replace them periodically!

After finding nothing about this “problem” I created my own video. Then I discovered yours. Thanks for this nonetheless. I’m sure we are not the only ones this happened to.

Not being negative honestly … before you actually start getting into pistols , that shoot actual bullets. Treat the gun with some love that spring says help me .. and on the p365 u have to lock all the way back I to place before that lever goes from 6oclock to 3

Because yo have the small spring opposite and for this stupid thing don’t fit or works correctly check the spring that goes under the barrel and turned and you’ll see your problem dessapers I broke my head because i try to change it for another because my gun shoots 6 or 7 shoots and then I have to clocked manually is like the gas don’t have enough power or something because it makes the blowback but don’t shoot more than 5 or 6 bbs and I have to pull back reset and shot pull back and shoot even with new bottle and I just bought it 3 days ago and I have this problem and also the spring I thought was broken and was just turn the spring, I think this commentary is gonna work for a lot of you guys that open it take the spring out and then put it back opposite and maybe works but not really and get hammed, we’ll that is the solution for more stupid that sounds in the gun everything must be in place to work properly is very delicate in some senses very accurate from 10mts and I get model 2021 and come with the 20bbs barrel that supposed to come better and fixed the problems from the before one that release the balls etc… this one brings like a stop they make some very small but nice improvements I’m just pist off cannot shoot more Than 4, 5 or maybe 6 or 7 round and is like it fell it doesn’t make the blowback correctly I don’t know if someone pass this one and sorted or know how to fix this please leave here a message before I send it back for warranty because for sure is something stupid also, and a good advice is always when you put the barrel with the bullets press the slide a little bit to back so you don’t scratch it or the rubber from the chamber I mean 😉😎👍🏻✌🏻 thanks man great video
