    The video is good and since it talks about card magic then you should have mentioned the name of another card maestro Mr.Ed marlo as he has been one of the most skilled card manipulator in the history of card magic.

    If you could trace the year cards were invented, in my opinion, that would be closer to the year magicians started to do card magic. In theory, I would imagine, magicians only came up with card magic, only after cards and card games became popular. At first cards were expensive and the middle class and poor people could not afford them. Papa Bamberg (Okito's Dad) performed before "Royal" audiences I would imagine because Nobles and Royalty played cards as a past time. It would be this kind of a magician that performed before royalty that started the card magic craze that we have today in magic. The game of chess was also one of the most popular Royalty games at this time and before the invention of cards. As only Royalty and Nobles could afford the game. If my memory is right, cards were hand painted before the printing press was invented, and take advanced technology to make. That is According to Vernon, In one of his Books.
