I've just put this in my world, the first script gave me an error, but the second one worked a charm, thank you for the step by step instruction! ALSO - If you build your flying object first like I did and the Z axis is wrong, place a block in front of your build with the Z axis in the correct orientation, group the block and build together, then go into the group and delete the block, your build will have a correctly aligned Z axis.

i tried this on a jet kart that i made and made the handles grabbable but when i grabbed the handle i just picked up the whole jet kart 😂 This script obviously is for something that you hold in your hand. Also the script was running on me after i got off the jet kart that the script was attached to...i was flying
Im currently working on a world where you jump out a plane and i would like to use this as the parachute function. I am having some trouble with the plane door mechanic. I want to do two things: first, i want to set a trigger to open the plan door when the player is in the plane. I can get the door to open, but i cant get it to rotate open in a time span of 3 seconds. It just flips when the trigger takes place and isnt axis locked. 2nd, i would like the plane to move around in a continuous circle and have the spawn point locked to the plane's interior. Im having some trouble figuring out the scripting and what entities need to be grouped and if things can be locked to the plane or not.
