This show was ultimate! KISS rules. What an incredible New Years Eve show! The hardest thing a day or two before the show was hooking up my desktop P.C. through the big screen TV and surround sound, but I got it up and running just in time. Now I know to do it if any similar pay per view happens. I bought the $39.99 version. It played really good. That was a killer show. 22 songs clocking in at 2 1/2 hours plus an hour pre- show program..
I see haters on here. The same haters that watched the ENTIRE show. ... If you hate something, why keep watching? You feel guilty for loving KISS for so long. That's why. It's your guilty pleasure. Don't lie to yourself. I'd be willing to bet you would have sold your virgin soul to the demon himself to have been there. In the pool. Next to a palm tree. Watching. The whole thing.
I completely agree...about 70 years or not...that's always the same magic..I 'll love them till I die..if you hate them, simply don't match, and let us alone!!!
I didn't. I watched the first 3-4 songs on YT and turned it off. I was a huge fan from 76-2000, and I don't deny people that still enjoy them. What I hate is seeing what they became (to me). I'm okay with Eric and Tommy, and I also enjoyed them at their peak (ALIVE II) with Pete and Ace. Getting old sucks, and although Pauls sounds better here in places than in 2019, he struggles. It happens. I'm to the point that the songs aren't exciting. I've heard them 1000x when they weren't down-tuned. I get it that Gene and Paul are now 70ish. They don't play the Demon and Starchild on stage anymore. They just sort of stand there. Again, getting old sucks. It's great that KISS figured out a way, in 2020, to give a lot of people work when most in the music business have none right now. It was a unique spectacle. But for me, it was also more of the same on a larger scale. I love the memories of all the shows I attended, reading album notes as a kid while the record spun in my bedroom, buying way too much merchandise over the years that is now long gone or in boxes in my basement. All great things. But I'm in the camp that they should have retired from touring several years ago. If they could pull off some studio magic once in a while, that would be cool, but there is nothing in it for them to do so. No radio. No money. As a fan for all those years, I wasn't aware this event was even happening until New Year's Eve. They just don't register on the radar unless you are still part of the KISS Army, and if you are, more power to you.
@@jimhoffmann Peter was a shadow of his former self by the time of the reunion tour.His playing was nearly robotic , like he was reading a music sheet.People get old , no shame in that. I was lucky to have enjoyed his prime. Saw both the "Alive" and "Destroyer" tours , though Destroyer IMO was a huge disappointment.
Looks like you got more video of Tommy Thayer than the entire live stream. showed. The other 3 memboers were showed predominantly but Thayer was barely shown. :(

One of the most underrated KISS songs. That is a top 20 of their bests.
I think most miss fans would agree it is the best song they’ve released in 30 years.
