The way you include several family members in your videos and they are so comfortable with the camera sure makes your work most enjoyable to watch. You are correct, they all break down sometime.
Gleaner has an excellent warranty program. If we had a dealer in our area in NC there will be more. #1 thing is you have a great dealer to work with no matter the brand they all break. Green, red, yellow, silver and black!
I really enjoy your format and editing after I watched a few videos. At first I thought the short clips and jumping around was odd for lack of a better word, but realized that it really works good with all the different directions that you go each day. That you are willing to try different brands and everything doesn’t have to be one color seems to work good. Thanks again for the entertainment.
Your comments on machines in the early part of the video are spot on. It's like anything else (cars, trucks, farm equipment, etc.) - they're all mechanical devices assembled in some part by people, so issues are bound to come up. The important thing is that your dealer has been there to take care of it with your warranty package and they got you that Fendt to run in the interim. Can definitely tell while you guys were talking in the cab that it's noisier...lol.
You have a good style and make informative videos that are enjoyable to watch Brian. It's also refreshing not to see green paint everywhere. On the Gleaner issue, I used to buy trucks, they were all shit, the trick was to buy the best shit of the bunch. One that when you're in it, the manufacturer is stood by you helping get out, not one pushing you further in. I think farmers are a savvy bunch that make very few errors of judgement. Thanks from London, UK.
Doing a great job, Brian, with the aerial videography. Farming bottom ground takes me back when we farmed similar fields, only with 4 row equipment. Best of luck the rest of harvest.
Bjs team sure had a good day today!! Hope he’s in a good mood tomorrow!! Love the videos and I glad you not quitting on the tin shed! Everything breaks
Good to hear that the gleaner is ready to go again. I can tell that the fendt is louder. Almost as if it doesn't have much sound deadind material. Plus not being offset like the gleaner may have a bit to do with it as well. I can still see y'all trading in the other class combine on another gleaner. Be great to see a fleet of gleaners lol.
We demoed a Fendt 9 last year. It did a very good job on grain quality. The capacity in corn was very moisture dependent. In corn dryer than 20-22 percent it had a lot of capacity. In some wetter corn we had to slow down as the grain losses really jumped up. I think Fendt will get a good combine developed. We have a close friend that runs two Fendt Combines. This is his third harvest and he is having issues. Some areas of the combine are wearing more than he thinks they should for the hours/acres of use. He also runs two CIH machines too. He is not having the wear issues with them. He does say the Fendt's are easier to get a good grain sample with.
Brian I’m with you. I wouldn’t trade that Gleaner either. Combines are flat ridiculous with prices right now. A lot of ppl ran gleaners around here in the Carolina’s and there’s still a lot of 80’s and 90’s gleaners still running around here today. I’ve always thought they were the ugliest combines made, especially the older ones, but the new one y’all got is beautiful. I know looks don’t mean squat, but to the the TH-cam watchers it means a lot. Bro you’ve done so good with the channel. I remember when you didn’t have a thousand subs, but you deserve it bc you crank out high quality vids pretty much daily. Always been my favorite bc y’all are so down to earth and just great country folks
Better off not brand loyal. Dealer support and the right machine for your operation is more important. Great video sharp looking machine. Congratulations Dax. 🦌
I am glad you told the Die hard Green People, All combines do Break down. Hope you have No more problems with it. The Ideal would be a Good Replacement for the Lexion. Hope you have good Luck with it.
Brian, Bob, Robert Jr., if it came to a choice of the Fendt combines I would go with the twin rotor over the single. Yes the rotor areas are close to the same but I demoed both and the twin rotor ran easier. The single rotor worked more the motor. But that being said A Gleaner is a Gleaner. Yea their parent company is the same and they must share technology but after switching from IH to Gleaner there is a strong brand loyalty going on.
Ivers farms in SE Illinois bought 2 new Case IH 9250s and both have had issues this fall so you are exactly right about break downs happen to all makes n models
got me thinking about Cole the Cornstar problems with their Case, they almost never get a break, it gone so far that they started to demo a green one to help out with the farming
Great one again, it is known that the fendt tractors are not the most efficiënt ones whit the fuelconsumption at least thats what every years tractor test shows overhere in the netherlands, but i dont know if the motor in the ideal is simular to the tractors, btw hands up for kayla, stay safe you all greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
I don't know anything about Fendt reliability, but I think they make the best looking combine on the market. The design and the black color makes me thinnk of a sports car out in the field.
You're dead right , a broken belt does not a bad combine make , complicated machinery will have its issues , and it's performing at pressure , so parts will fail , the gleaner was new , and a year will find out the faults and cracks . I never buy a new car , I let someone else have the first 2 years . That fendt , though looking the dogs danglies , I don't think it's up to the work you'll give it , just my opinion from observation . Mrs Brown was in condition this morning , great video , don't know if you have fireworks on November 5th , but I am . 65 year old kid . Great video 👍🇬🇧
When you think you got it all sorted ,out of the Blue comes another problem, but for now the Gleaner is fixed the Belt replaced, belts are always wearing out, so its maintenance you need to keep spares, part & parcel of working Harvesters or Chain drives, and so on, so the New Ideal Fendt looks a nice machine, I don't Bob, likes it ,it seems to nosy for him, but its giving a good sample ,the corn Head could be better but its still a nice machine, I would be getting the Gleaner going in the field & thank the Company for the loan of the Ideal Fendt, well on that note Cheers & Best Wishes to you all Brian, Regards Trevor.W.Baelli. Biloela qld Australia.
Is it a chopping header with rotary knives? That will make it louder in the cab, when we turn them off on our Deere head for no till there is less noise in the cab.
Nice changeup having Mrs Brown swooping first place with a morning smile. Thanks for taking the time to create content :-) Is it possible there is a missing cab filter letting in some noise?
I believe they have couple fixes for the head not wanting to feed when tough- diff deck plates and a saw tooth attachment on the auger in front of feeder house. I believe on our gleaner when you back up the header comes up automatically as well.
You can turn the seat built chime off. You may have to pick around on the internet. It is generally by turning the ignition to run (with truck off) while performing a sequences of steps of buckling and unbuckling your seatbelt. I’ll see if I can find it. I don’t run GM, so I will have to see.
Glad to hear you like the Ideal combine. I was told by a sales rep for Agco that there are several improvements that have been made to the Ideal since it was first introduced a few years ago.
Another entertaining video guys, makes you realise the importance of good warranty packages on expensive machinery. Keep up the good work, and kayla, you keep coming up with those doozies! Lol 😆
How does a split crop farm work? Does he pay half the planting the harvesting spraying Etc. That looks like a pretty nice combine but I'll stick with my John Deere even if it breaks down all the time.
As long as that Gleaner is under warranty, rock on. Especially if they will bring you loaners. Dennis Ivers’ new Case has had a lot of issues too. Case is taking care of them. I don’t play the Ford / Chevy game. They are tools to do jobs with. Find the one you like and use them. If change them up, fine, if you don’t fine. No matter what, it is YOUR business, no one else’s.
I am new to the channel and don’t know if you have tried a John Deere combine. I have seen many different combines and by far the John Deere has them all beat. If you look at many of the bigger channels on TH-cam most have the John Deere’s. Definitely something you should look into in the future. If you haven’t already, like I said I am new to the channel.
Since you're not brand bias, I would love to see you demo a Tribine in next years harvest. A farmer 18 miles north of my place invented it and I think you would be perfect for it.
I hear you about machinery prices, we looked to change our combine a couple of years ago, the price has since gone up by £150,000 😳 I’d love for the manufacturers to justify where that increase is going? 😳
if my grandfather was still alive prior to my time he’d tell since he was a mechanic owned his own shop it’s mechanical. Hopefully 🤞 fingers crossed you can get your gleaner fixed bad belt or something rubbed n cut it or it lost tension somehow buts it’s a rut rough raggy
The way you include several family members in your videos and they are so comfortable with the camera sure makes your work most enjoyable to watch. You are correct, they all break down sometime.
Thanks for watching
Kayla is awesome, her sense of humor with the intro’s kills me, lol
Don’t underestimate this farm girl. She is street smart and can take care of herself!
Gleaner has an excellent warranty program. If we had a dealer in our area in NC there will be more. #1 thing is you have a great dealer to work with no matter the brand they all break. Green, red, yellow, silver and black!
You're dad seems like an incredible man. I very much his videos. I sincerely hope I can be the man he is at that age. Great videos!!!!!!
Great video, every color breaks down, Ohio AG is doing a great job keeping the harvest going for Brown's Farm
I really enjoy your format and editing after I watched a few videos. Brian our local fendt dealer this harvest had a demo class 9 , and everyone that had a demo of it was very impressed with results ,🏴

Another great video guys congratulations to Dax on his deer 🦌
Thanks. He will like reading this
Great y’all got a backup combine to use!

Great video. Harvest rolls on and always interesting to see how you and your implement dealers work through the breakdowns.

Great shot of the Ideal and grain cart in the dark great that you’ve kept on cutting
Thanks for watching
Ivers new cases have also been through 2 or 3 breakdowns, your spot on they do all break down
Thank You for the comments. Interesting
Better off not brand loyal. Dealer support and the right machine for your operation is more important. Great video sharp looking machine. Congratulations Dax. 🦌

good to see combine back together 😊
The gleaner was a good choice Brian. These people saying you need to trade it in don’t farm, and have never been in a combine!
I just love how that combine looks

Sitting on rotor on the Ideal, it's behind the bin on the Gleaner = less threshing noise in the cab
1 year in with our Fendt 9T. Our farm was super impressed with it. Great vid. Have a safe rest of harvest.
Was looking forward to your dad thoughts about the combine, sadly i did not understand much
Can’t beat great customer service that’s for sure
Thanks for another great video and showing another machine doing what you do in harvest time.
that gleaner is a great cobine and its still brand new that would be crazy to get rid of it
Great stuff..... Thank you for the detailed overview of the Fendt combine......
ALWAYS, PROUD OF Y'ALL
Good thing the Class is in the shed
Ivers farms in SE Illinois bought 2 new Case IH 9250s and both have had issues this fall so you are exactly right about break downs happen to all makes n models

Exciting stuff going down on the Brown farm these days........😁😁😁😁😁😁 thanks for the continuous uploads, good viewing.
i'm lovin the paint job on the new machine - it even beats the gleaner in the stealth stakes
I wonder if the heads on the new Fendt and New Lexion combines are interchangeable
My late father used 2 say " Nothing breaks down in a shed when it's not being used " FACT !!!!!
Always fun to have a new toy to play with. Especially if it's somebody else's
Hell yes POWER LADDER so happy to hear that
You're dead right , a broken belt does not a bad combine make , complicated machinery will have its issues , and it's performing at pressure , so parts will fail , the gleaner was new , and a year will find out the faults and cracks . Kayla keep up the great job keeping him hopping. I think it's funny because been married 31yrs my wife does the same thing.
Awesome video love the drone views. TY for sharing

tha t fendt is sooo cool in the colour etc but the lights are cool also, working words seems to liek it whcih is cool
Is it a chopping header with rotary knives? That will make it louder in the cab, when we turn them off on our Deere head for no till there is less noise in the cab.
😂Kayla, I rewound & started over. You’re Brian “good mornin’” imitation made him sound like Homer Simpson! 😂
Thanks for letting us tag along!
Brian waiting for this video was killing me! I want your input on this combine.
Nice changeup having Mrs Brown swooping first place with a morning smile. Thanks for taking the time to create content :-) Is it possible there is a missing cab filter letting in some noise?
Very impressive machine. I hope you get to run it longer.
You busting your brothers chops priceless.
Sorry about the Gleaner, but that Ideal looks like a real sharp machine. Dave D.
I believe they have couple fixes for the head not wanting to feed when tough- diff deck plates and a saw tooth attachment on the auger in front of feeder house.
I believe on our gleaner when you back up the header comes up automatically as well.
I think it’s because we are running an aftermarket head

Love this video Brian and the Familys Browns
Another entertaining video guys, makes you realise the importance of good warranty packages on expensive machinery. Keep up the good work, and kayla, you keep coming up with those doozies! Lol 😆
2 combines. 12 row heads. Time to eat corn. Keep up BJ.
Fendt seems to make really good stuff
I saw a comment about Dax's deer, any video? Nice job kiddo!!!
I’m new to the farming scene on TH-cam an so nice to see all these hard working family’s! You guys motivate me!
I really wish I could work on your guys farm
what kind of concaves are you putting in the gleaner.
Precision farm parts
Awesome job! Nice combine! It needed some attention! But the ideal has potential!
How does it compare to the Trion ? from last year. ?
Great awesome video Brian
great vlog brother.nice to see hard work that pays well .....both combines are great. hard to say whats best ....xx
How does a split crop farm work? Does he pay half the planting the harvesting spraying Etc. That looks like a pretty nice combine but I'll stick with my John Deere even if it breaks down all the time.
You split the crop sell price instead of cash rent. Probably not a fifty/fifty spilt, the landlord will get the lesser payment.

Never ran a Deere. I’m sure they are fine but I’m confident our combines are as good or better
thank you
Since you're not brand bias, I would love to see you demo a Tribine in next years harvest. A farmer 18 miles north of my place invented it and I think you would be perfect for it.
Since you're getting the gleaner back tomorrow it could be an opportunity to do a side by side comparison to the fendt
nice ideal combine brian, 👍👍
Good Mooourning
Keep us updated on the different concaves for the Gleaner if you try them.
I would think that corn would make more noise during threshing than small grains.
Thanks for another video.
Like the 🎶. Thanks Kayla!!
I saw some engine corn. Is the to dry it faster?
Lol
You mean the ideal made an entire day without breaking down? A new record!
That's one badass machine!! Awesome Video and Much Love as Always Brian!!!
Long live the power ladder 💪💥
All Hail !!
This new combine must be “ideal” for this farming😉😂. Great video
I love how Bob says bushels
I hear you about machinery prices, we looked to change our combine a couple of years ago, the price has since gone up by £150,000 😳 I’d love for the manufacturers to justify where that increase is going? 😳
I'm wondering why we don't see any green combines in your operation 🤔.
I can’t see a Fendt combine & not think of Mike Mitchell’s brand new one burning. That’s when I learned just how fast farm equipment burns.
I didn't catch what Special K said.
If it's gonna break down under warranty is the best time
I think dad likes the new combine
Great video good to see y'all
if my grandfather was still alive prior to my time he’d tell since he was a mechanic owned his own shop it’s mechanical. Hopefully 🤞 fingers crossed you can get your gleaner fixed bad belt or something rubbed n cut it or it lost tension somehow buts it’s a rut rough raggy
That has to be one of the best looking combines besides the x9
Kayla is so funny, great video. Goooood morning 😂
