- The fourth song from Moya Brennan's autobiographical album Signature, 2006. This is a bonus song not included in the original album. It is also a revised version of the song that Moya's family band Clannad wrote for the movie The Last of the Mohicans. In the song Moya sings in Mohican and Cherokee respectively.

Moya Brennan is THE BEST FEMALE SINGER OF ALL TIME. FULL STOP. ENYA is 2nd best;) I had the honor and privilege to hear her perform at the Mashpee Auditorium on Cape Cod in 2010. I was so blessed to speak to her briefly and convey to her that the music she and the Brennan family (Clannad) produced got me through law school....God bless...thank you!

Both of the sisters are talented. Enya is a perfectionist and uses the electronics to layer her voice for the chorale sounds. Two different ways of making some of the most beautiful music.
I read somewhere that she uses different rooms of one of her castles to record then blend??? Either way I love her. Have all her CDs.

I think that she is better,Moya have something more special,is like she was more near of heaven,is amazin,Enya to,but my personal opinion is that Moya is a litle more better

I absolutely love her vocals. I've been a fan of her music since I heard the dazzling album Perfect Time a few years ago. I've always been a fan of of ghostly musical styles (ethereal music), but her voice has a certain substance that I don't often find in like performers. It could be the lyrical content, which is quite spiritual in nature sometimes, or it could be the sincerity and dedication she shows in the translation of the song to the listeners. Whatever the case, her voice is classic.
Exactly! I listened to Enya a lot at one point, and even though I love her voice (especially her harmonies because they're flawless), I don't sense her emotional attachment to what she's singing like I do when i listen to Maire. I do love both their voices, and I could never choose a favorite singer between the two, but I do like the fact that there's a more direct spiritual focus in Maire's lyrical content than in Enya's and other like artists. And this really draws me in, like a deer to water.

I had the the delightful experience to become acquainted with Moya and her daughter at the Sellersville Theater. Moya graciously autographed a CD and a book she wrote which is now out of print. Yes, Enya is her younger sister.

i certainly have, and have listened to her almost as long as enya, which is about since i was 8 or 9 years old. i prefer enya and moya who are more spiritual or ethereal, but loreena is wonderful with her being more rooted in the various cultures and sounds that she has traveled to and studied. she's definitely another celtic rooted musician that is well worth checking out!!!

agreed, she is probably my favorite musical artist working today. i think she's spiritual and ethereal, but less so and more real and down to earth and emotional than her sister Enya, who is more soothing and otherworldly. while her voice may not be quite what it used to be, i think her songwriting ability have really shot up since clannad and her first solo album.
