Hey Adam, you are "The Master". You are helping me to fill so many many empty clusters that I have been carrying through my learning process. Thank you so much!!!
■ 🎹🎹🎹 ■ As a 50+ years veteran player, and the currently past 21+ years on the road professionally as the piano player/backup vocalist for country music star Sammy Kershaw (as well as Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye in our combined "Roots and Boots" your), and having taught privately for many years, I applaud your excellent teaching skills!! Breaking down what to "us" is simple patterns, in such a digestible exact manner, along with your very approacable and "understanding" personality... dude, you're gold! 😉 Glad to see your channel is so successful! I have no idea how much 💰 you're earning from it all, but bravo to you, and well deserved! Not only does the basic knowledge and teaching have value, but all the WORK of producing videos is alone worth the income! 😆 I'm in the brainstorming process of developing my own teaching website (I need retirement income ahead.. I'm getting old! 😂) and I appreciate gleaning a few great teaching techniques from your own excellent work! Much continued success to you, my fellow 🎹 playing friend across the pond! 😊 (my own channel's videos are a bit embarrassing, not really intended toward being representative of my playing, but it was "something to do" during a lot of covid lockdown... just a little disclaimer there 😁)
Ah Steve that’s such a lovely message. Thanks so much for reaching out. So glad you’re enjoying the videos - they’re a lot of work, but I’m so glad people all over the world are engaging with them and finding them useful. Makes it all worth it!
Adam, you are a double gentleman! Many thanks for putting this together. I have the backing tracks too and will start slow like you mentioned and separate the hands to begin with. Really appreciate you fulfilling the requests here in the comments. All the best with going full time time at The Keys Coach. Cheers. Brian
Yes, Indeed!!! You were born to TEACH the concepts that TROUBLE the learner and SCARES the hearts of most on-lookers who give up and never realize that they, too, could learn, with the help of a GREAT TEACHER!!! 👍🏼 12:21
Loved it Adam but then that was a foregone conclusion. Thank you for the PDF though. As always they are so helpful. My issue I think is not so much being able to improvise although I thought that that was the issue for me, I have just made the connection that I just don't remember sequences as well as I used to. I have to play them and let it sink in! Must be my age lol! Thank you for another one of your great, fun and insightful lessons. Looking forward to the next one.
Grooves 1 & 2 are very cool and with a little practice I can get them down at a slow tempo. Gaining speed will take more time but I feel confident. Groove 3 is beyond my capabilities at this point!
Great lesson but I'm struggling more with your fingering on the keys. I can do it much easier using my 1 2 & 4 and using my 2 & 4 for the other part does anyone else do this?
TIP : J Lewis riff : ,first pactice JUST THE 1st finger to 2nd finger TRIPLET movement , get that really fast , clean ( its v hard at first )then add the thumb , then the pinky ,
Great content, Adam!!! Thank you.

Nice to see a blues tutorial that doesn't just shuffle between the fifth and sixth in the left hand. More please, Adam.
