I've stayed at both of these hotels and you cannot beat the price and the central location of these resorts. You get all the Disney resort perks without the Disney prices for a Deluxe hotel.

Just around the time this video was made On August 7th I went to Disney world and stayed in the dolphin with my family and went going to each of all the good rides. We even saw the fireworks at magic kingdom But are time was up on August 16 We took are jet blue plane back home to New York

Yeah, but shame that Swan & Dolphin kinda destroy the theming of Yacht, Beach and Boardwalk right. From certain eye lines... totally takes me out of the time period when I see them in background!
Mike I watched the whole video.. I’m in Florida now.. Is it too late to book this Tuesday, Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday nite? My wife an are traveling with a small Emotional Support animal.. 6 lbs.
They use their own busses now for magic kingdom and drop you off at the transportation center vs right at the park entrance. You can still use the Disney boats for Epcot and Studios
Because this technically isnt a Disney hotel... does anyone know if you stay at another hotel such as the contemporary that is a disney resort, will they still send over your luggage for you to the Dolphin?
I would confirm with Disney, but I don’t think so. Also, when I booked they did tell me that magic bands won’t work as room keys, but they do offer package/merchandise delivery from the parks when that becomes a thing again.
It really all depends on what you're looking for Alyssa! If it's close proximity to the parks then Dolphin is the hotel but if it's for a nicer hotel and rooms then Gran Destino is beautiful and would get my vote!
I have couple of question staying at Swan or Dolphin. How much is overnight parking or is it free parking for overnight guest (Is the parking is covered or is it open parking) and my other question is if I stay at these resorts do I have early access to the theme park?

Yes, guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will have access to 30-minute early entry at any of the four Walt Disney World's theme parks, every day!
The hotel overall is insanely beautiful but rooms and hallways feel so trashy. They really need to put just as much effort as they do for the grounds and lobby into the rooms. The rooms feel like they haven't been updated since the 90s. I don't understand the logic of sacrificing cleanliness and comfortability for convenience. I'd rather pay the money to stay at a Disney deluxe or stay at the Signa by Hilton or Wyndam Grand Bonnet Creek with a car.

looked into this, I prefer staying to Moderate Resort like Port Orleans French Quarter
