    Hallo Markus,

    Hello Mark! So glad I found your videos! I've been doing basically the wheel for 2 years and only recently realized it was an actualy strategy called the wheel. The best info I've gotten from you so far has been from the $RIDE trade (one I was actually in). It wasn't a stock I wanted to own. HOWEVER I am now in $SQ a stock I definitely DO want to own but am down big. To make $$$ while waiting I have been selling weekly Bear Call Spreads around .20 Deltas to receive some income as I wait for the price to come back. What are your thoughts on managing a down position this way? Keep the quality content coming!

      I need to think about it a little bit more, but it seems it already works for you

      You could be waiting years for a stock like that to come back, at some point it might be worth it to harvest the loss if you can't make much on the calls .

      @@rollie5579 Thanks for the input! Being stuck down in a stock is the last detail I've been working on. I'm actually fine with it since they're quality stocks and I use money management (only a small position in a single stock). I'm just always looking to improve. I've added scaling into stocks, using ration put spreads that can be converted to a bear spread if the stock moves against me, straight up stop losses on the puts as to not get assigned at all, rolling down and out, selling a put as well as a call to increase my stop loss margin. Still don't have any sort of magic management technique. I think just waiting for the stock to come back while you focus on the rest of your positions/capital may still be best. What do you do when a stock moves down against you that you've sold a put on?

      Hello Jeff,
      I made this video awhile back which might help you manage your position. It's about flying rescue missions: th-cam.com/video/OlTD9h_ZNd8/w-d-xo.html
      Also, have you checked out our PXO software yet? It recommends strike prices which may also help: www.rockwelltrading.com/products/10-44-powerx-optimizer/?TH-cam&PXO-&Markus&

    Great video, could you please share your thoughts on why the portfolio should not have strongly correlated stocks?

    • @rockwelltradingservices
      @rockwelltradingservices  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course! Let's use alternative energy stocks as the example. In this example, you are invested into wind energy, solar energy, etc. If bad news or articles come out regarding alternative energy, you're whole account may take a hit. Alternatively, if you are invested in solar energy while also investing in something less directly correlated like Apple, it is more likely that only one stock will take a hit as opposed to your whole account. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
