Some songs should not be touched when it comes to compositions no matter how much ever vidwat you have. She tried murkhiyan like ghazals and other variations which were not required for this song. Always less is more. So adding more aalaps do not make compositions like this better.
I respect music as I'm a trained singer too..as a student of music I can just say..this isn't the voice texture for this song..fusion doesn't work everywhere..
You really need to explore more. Really. There isn't nothing as this texture doesn't suit this song. Anything can be sung with any voice, any gender, any meaning. It's very very fluid and we just need to not have prejudice.
@@namy7506 I would respectfully disagree. The art of music with lyrics is all about the "rasa". The rasa in this song is Shringaara. The choice of rendition should respect the rasa. This rendition, even if technically very creative and very sound, doesn't seem to respect the rasa (albeit, I feel, only in some places). But overall, I don't think it's that much of a mismatch. I enjoyed it.
It is a fusion song and it has been very beautifully rendered with a very good blend with the instrument playing. Texture is very apt to this fusion.👌👍
