    Lowering the start force is such a wicked move, it’s hard to commit to the game with systems like this

      For real, the only game where you can put in a bunch of resources, only for your item to get weaker :( I still play though, it's a problem.

    You have such a soothing sound 🥹 and the details are straight to the point.
    And thank you for not making the bgm obnoxiously loud like many other maple guides!!!

    Very good infographic at the end. I would recommmend going for 22 CRA after 17 Arcanes! And roulette arcanes up to 21 only on ssf (unless the gains are needed to progres!)
    I also recommend treating pitch boss(pb) set as a luxury set and sending it to 22 (except maybe ET) because a 22 item is still better than a 21 pb! But to each their own!

      Thank you, and thanks for the advice! When I get to that point, I'll do just that. Lol I heard we should 22 star the pitched set, but tbh I can't take the heartbreak if it booms T_T

    You just saved my ass from SFing my Tyrants cape, Thank! xwx
    I was gonna see if the 5 star SF Scroll from Maple Tour would be of any benefit but now im thinking probably not. ^^;;

      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol no problem! I do got to admit, it is very tempting to starforce Tyrant gear xD. Also, those types of scrolls do not work on Tyrant gear or any magnus equips.

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No way! Dw it's coming eventually, one day you will have 21 stars. But for real you have a good mental, I would have quit already xD. Uhmm, try just full sending one item next time, you got nothing to lose T_T

    the rouletting/committing concept seems to be completely absent in players' brains, so a lot of people probably need to hear this... great job!
    also, concerning the infographic at the end, it could be entirely my opinion and i could be wrong on that, but in my experience (which is, btw, entirely solo prog based...).
    especially now with 6th job, but even before that, u can do just fine with 17* equipment up to like at least normal lucid/will, if u don't mind going for 30 minute runs, probably cgloom as well. (just to add the obvious tho, it is PROBABLY class dependent...)
    but overall, great guide, hopefully people see it!

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! Yeah, I too didn't know about rouletting/committing in the beginning, I feel like you have to know the pain of starforcing to grasp this concept initially xD. So, hopefully it does help somebody. I too am solo prog based, and I think you are completely right that you can solo normal lucid/will with 17 star equips. For me 30 min is a bit long to boss fight, and I don't enjoy it when it becomes endurance based. Cgloom is crazy though, you gotta be a god xD

    @achilles686 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Solid guide, but looking at the priority guide at the end I have to point out that going 22* early does have benefit of not having to hoard fodder/dupes, and since arcane boxes expire (thanks nexon), you can also focus future dupes on unfinished pieces rather than “wasting” them.

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a great point, I have a bunch of fodder left over and I could just push my 21 items to 22 and get rid of them. For real tho, I am just scared of booming xD. But really, I had no idea Arcane boxes expire, like why would they do that? Nexon with their big brain ideas :)

    • @brandonsam5011
      @brandonsam5011 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For arcane gear I start with getting 2 sets of each piece before proceeding to get more until I tap, it just hurts having spares and you 1 tap an equip to 22*, also 22 or boom on pitched boss gear, from my understanding is there's no point in swapping your gear to pitch unless it's already 22 and you have 3 set, the bonus stats from other sets outweigh the benefit of one pitch item. I think source and ET are the only ones that are kind of worth since source is transferrable for easy 22 and ET is a good ring to replace KT, if you're running sup ring; Slime ring; KT; and Ror4/cont4

    • @achilles686
      @achilles686 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@brandonsam5011 depends on which piece but yeah typically if they're 22 u can insta swap, though different players break gollux at different times depending on WSE/fams/etc.

    When talking about Shining or not, another factor to consider is whether you'll get to next tier of bosses faster. Does their meso drop and item rarity drop outweigh savings for waiting x months? Pitch Boss bosses early can be a good tradeoff for some mesos.
    Many players don't know this, but mesos is a diminishing returns resource very late in the endgame. Once you get all double primes and start going for flame optimization, replacement equips is much harder to get.

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You bring up such a great point! Pushing to start getting the pitched set as early as possible is worth the meso cost, even off shining. Lol I'm not yet at the very late game (not even close), but I've seen the discord, and how many mesos it takes to even gain a little more range. MapleStory be too tough sometimes T_T

    What i recommend is after full 17 you 21 everything except arcanes then you 22 cra and get arcanes to 19 then you 22 everything except arcanes and then finally 22 arcanes. Arcanes should be last to finish cause of the high cost. Also it doesnt have to be in this exact order. It depends on what you have spares for.

    • @saigrinYT

    Would you not recommend safe guarding CRA equipment or gollux? all i see in forums is that everyone uses fodder and transfer OR they just straight star force and if it booms then you start over, i ask because i didnt know all this when i started playing and i have several 3 Line DEX potentials at unique/legendary and i dont wanna cube em again if they Boom! :(

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      In the case of CRA, you should have a bunch of duplicates so no need to safeguard. If CRA booms you can just transfer the trace to a replacement, as it keeps your potential. Essentially you should keep starring the same CRA equip to not lose potential and eventually 22 star. For Gollux, it is a bit different. Gollux is a lot more rare so we do fodder it. If you are scared of booming, you can safeguard your gollux equips to 17 stars. Once you get multiples of gollux gear, use fodder equips and transfer them into the new items and then try to go for 21-22 stars on them. No need to touch your equips you already have potential on. Start on a clean one so you don't have to reset a potential, and once you hit 21-22 you can potential it. tldr; CRA, just keep starforcing the same item. Gollux, keep a set of equip that you use as gear (don't transfer fodder into them if you are scared of booming it), when you get multiples, transfer fodder into them and even if they boom no potential is lost. Sorry if this is really long, I hope this helps in someway

  • @Noed22
    @Noed22 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    yo, for 21 star gollux equipment, do you get your fodder to 22 then transfer hammer them?

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For me, I just get my fodder to 21 stars, then transfer them into the gollux equip. You can 22 star fodder, but it is a bit riskier because you have to pass two 30% with the high boom chance.

    When should 21 starring non pitched boss accessories come in? Like twilight mark, slime ring, etc.

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would recommend doing them right after you 21 star Gollux set.

      The icon is the magician explorer link skill being applied to the monster. Once you start levelling up the explorer magician classes you can add it to your active link skills.

    17-18* on 5/10/15 then you sf to 22* on 30% off

    • @saigrinYT
      @saigrinYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a good strategy. I still think going 15-20 during 5/10/15 is just a bit more easy, because we can remove one less 30%. I really can't trust my luck xD
