one thing I did learn is you can hook a lead to the cleats on the sloop and pull it off of the beach into the water if you don't want to use water buckets
yeah I didn't even know that was a thing in the mod at time of review it shoulda done more research but I can be dumb sometimes

Do you know how to control the sail？I can only control rudder with WASD, It's almost impossible to drive a sailboat without controling the direction of the boat sail...
right click the sails to activate them
@@DraconSmol i know how to sit on the captain seat to control the rudder, but can we control the sail of this sailboat？
ok upon reading your question again I think my tiredness got the better of me but no I think the direction of the sail is tied to directional inputs
@@user-lq3ul7yt5iok so w and s affect the angle of the main sail, a and d control the rudder its confusing but you'll get the hang of it hopefully

How do I make one from scratch? I've tried doing the design you have shown for the larger of the two, but it's not doing anything. Do I need to find a special schematic for it? Or do I simply have to pray I find an incomplete one and finish it? (I'm playing on an all ocean world, so land is ... difficult to find. 1.20.1 Forge Java)
@Wahots79 ok I have tested with the mod a little further and it seems sloops cannot be made from scratch in the mod yet however rowboats can be made from scratch I will definitely be revisiting this mod when it gets a major update
@@DraconSmol Hi! mod dev here. they can be made from scratch! just copy how it's found in the structure. You also don't need to use water to move the boats around, you can attach leads to the cleats!
@@alekiponi in my testing it wasn't moving with leads good to know it does I will take this as a learning opportunity and for later mod reviews I do I shall do extenstive testing from now on instead of surface level
