This is hands down the best Spanish learning guide in the whole internet for me 🙌🏻 thank you so much for your work. Every time I watch your video I can feel I’ve improved a bit more by the end of the video. It just feels amazing! Amor desde China
So glad I found your channel! I am a heritage Spanish speaker; my father was from Mexico (mother from Ireland). Mi acento es puro mexicano but I have a lot of trouble understanding native speakers. When they hear me speak Spanish to them, they assume I'll have no trouble communicating with them. Not true! Eso me da pena.
This exercise of transcribing El Gigante Egoïste is helping me more than all my other study tools combined! It’s taking me forever, and I’m glad I rewatched this video because I have been missing the step of repeating each line until I understand it perfectly.
Sir, you are brilliant! Thank you for sharing your talents and gifts with us. This is scholar-level information. From now on, this will be the only Spanish channel I'm going to watch to learn and practice Spanish! I am very grateful for all of your efforts.🙌🙏👋
FINALLY a resource that is truly remarkable. I just watched this and I feel I learned more than all of the other resources I was using. The bilingual is great, the phonetics makes it easy to understand and I will actually be able to sound like a native and not some hack. Going to look website more. But THANK YOU
Hi, thanks for your work! It´s been really helpful to me: not only in my learning Spanish, but my students of English are using it too! I was wondering how you learned about the powers of transcription? Could you recommend any academic resources providing a scientific basis? ¡Muchas gracias!
Hi! I learned about it from a post on Chinese-forums and another on the Language Learner's forum. The blog of Prof. Gianfranco Conti, PhD, also talks about this: gianfrancoconti.com/2015/07/11/a-much-under-used-yet-powerful-micro-listening-enhancer/ I haven't really looked for scientific papers trying this technique, but I'll put it on my to-do list.

I hope that this makes sense. It is very hard to write it in Spanish.
¡Hola!
You can just half-screen each window easily in Windows and most all Linux desktops, by dragging the TH-cam browser to one side of the screen, and the Google Doc browser to the other side. MacOS window management is so fiddly and crappy.

Thank you so much for this channel ❤🎉👍🏼 I have been looking for you the last 6 months
Thanks! Why 6 months? You could not remember my channel name?
It's like that with music too.
Yup, that's why I'm preparing a new video in which I exchange ideas with a piano teacher.

Im starting to watch his videos and thkg this is what I’ve been looking for. What country is he from. ?
Hi. My accent is mixed Ecuadorian. Mixed because I incorporate elements from both the Coast and the Highlands.
Cool. Thanks. So it’s very similar to the Mexican style of Spanish. 👍

¡Hola! Sí. De hecho, aprendí mucho inglés transcribiendo canciones de Pink Floyd. Creo que lo mencioné en el video.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm on macos but I often use Windows for editing subtitles.
No tengo ordenador 😂 yo uso el móvil
