this seems really fun and I'm liking it so far, but I think some things are lost in translation cause they're just confusing... drag queens and trans women are two entirely different things, but they seem to use the words like they mean the same thing here... also gender and sexual orientation are also two entirely different things
There are a LOT of issues in this show and trust me when I say it will NOT age well. A cis-woman shouldn’t be using the term ‘ladyb*y’, which is insulting and degrading. Certainly this should not be played for laughs.

There's a word, "katoey" that also been used a lot in the series but it's always translated to something else and creates misunderstandings. Katoey is referred to effeminate guys, transwomen, ladyboys, drag queens etc.
Mostly it's translation.. Thai is a complicated language and certain words are very difficult to translate in English, that they end up losing their authentic meanings. I don't think they're purposefully trying to do anything problematic, different countries have different cultures terms and what not.
