Hey bro! Happy Serpent Sunday to you! Great shifts on that finally. MIKE H certainly knows his stuff, he has given me good advice numerous times also. Anyways I'd say maybe try a bit of a later shift point, could help get it to a higher RPM and higher speed when it shifts. That thing should be able to hit 45, I know the serpent buggy with that same engine and single speed easily does 40+.
@kgm5512 Yep! It's almost as if you try to get the clutch to shift a tad later, the springs can't overcome the centrifugal force and don't spread out. It appears that once you getvit shifting, that's where it simply wants to be. I'm okay with that because it's an RTR, I'll probably try different gearing at some point. For now, it's a nice parking lot basher.
Sounds good. Is the pipe a low mid or top end pipe. If its a top end pipe its shifting way to early. According to the gearing it may not change top a whole. King's was running high dollar engine and legs seemed to be longer Good job kyle 👊
@@kgm5512 its what i was thinking too bro.just an idea i had.matching when it gets up on pipe gear change and gearing will all add up to make a big difference with Rtr engine. Its what i do anyways .good stuff Buddy 👊

It just needs a bit more fiddling!! There is a fine line on this clutch where if you turn one mm more it’s not shifting at all 😮! Thanks bro!!!

Being an rtr probably a mid range pipe. Pull start engine too it needs to be tinkered with a bit more

Shifting too early.
You are correct. This transmission is difficult to work with. It’s a learning curve for me this is the only point I could get it to shift period.
