feck come on help me out .....this is the best iv seen ...but im new to this ...i served in the Guards in the South Atlantic war .(falklands )..now made redundant at 60 ...my Daughter gave me a guitar ...but cant follow with out some keys on screen to write down ...but thank you ,,,this is great ...
Hi MC C. If you are new to playing guitar I would suggest buying a basic guitar chord book and this should help you make sense of the chord names I give out in my lessons. I'm not very tech savvy so on-screen graphics is something I don't do. Ivor
@mcc9887, I was 60 when I started guitar. (Thanks for your service btw) . I hope Ivor won't mind, but there are channels out there which will get you learning chords. I learn more by watching and listening than reading.Then when you've picked up a few, get right back here, to Ivor's channel, he does some great songs from our youths which are a joy to learn and play, taught in a style that even I can understand, which is a measure of a good lesson. Check out Ivor's "You Got Your Troubles" and "Misty". Whilst I'm on a roll, the band was called First Edition, then the powers that be changed it to Kenny Rodgers And The First Edition, (Kenny was opposed to this). The band did not want to release this track, as the Vietnam War was still ongoing(reaaching an end), and they thought that the concept of an injured Vet, whose wife was openly cheating on him, as he was dying, would not go down well.
